  1. I saw a very large group... sit in the lido buffet area every morning. The women in this group stole so many pastries, croissants; and boxes of cereal...packing them away in gallon ziplock bags and stuffing them in their oversized bags. I saw this going on 3 mornings. I knew they saw me staring in disbelief. I guess they liked them so much they wanted a 2 month supply when they got home!

  2. My husband became Diamond two cruises before me. He didn't receive anything yet. When I turn Diamond I had everything waiting in the cabin upon arrival. We have been getting the run around as well from Carnival. Called Diamond Desk and they said it would be in the cabin on the next cruise....it wasn't. Came home and the Diamond Desk said...just go to Guest Services and they will take care of it. So when we go on our next cruise I will go to the Service Desk and if it isn't straightened out....I will request that they call the Diamond Desk with me right there and hopefully get to the bottom of it. Seems to be some real serious inconsistencies regarding this.

  3. Been to Cockleshell beach twice. We went there in Feb. 2015 and was just there in Oct. 2015. We stayed at a little place right in the middle. It was called "Best Spot on the Beach" and is now "No Limit Beach Chair & Umbrella Rentals". Less crowded, cold beer, good service. It is not fancy. If you want to just relax and drink some cool ones..this is a great place. They do have a facebook. Nolimitbeach Chairrentals. Give them a try. Did I mention....$2 beers and $5 rum punch. 2 chairs and umbrella $10. Can't beat it!

  4. From my experience it just depends on how much work you do when booking/ your preference on researching your cruise or using a valuable resource.

I personally do my research when picking a cabin, research when searching picking a cruise and love doing it 100% on my own.

My partner prefers calling up his PVP and lives by her - wont book without her (shout out to Linda!),

I've compared bookings and our prices are generally 100% the same and she has no other insight - I just personally love the thrill of spending a couple hours looking into my booking which you could save when using a PVP. I don't think the PVP's always look at your Casino offers tho so you may want to pull up a your casino offers first before calling your PVP.

    EDIT:

AND there are some other advantages when booking multiple cabins - linking cabins. THey have some behind the scene features that make it easier so if your group booking and wanna schedule same dining times, etc. - a PVP makes it easier.

There is one big advantage of having the help of a PVP. When you book yourself you can't see all the available cabins. The website never shows more than 10 cabins in any location. I like being able to have my PVP tell me all the cabins available. More choice.

  5. We just had a Junior Suite (9205) on deck 9 on the Magic. Noise was never a problem. When people were using the observation decks all the way forward...privacy was a bit of an issue. When we were sitting on our balcony people would be just as surprised to see us...as we were to see them. There isn't too much traffic because it is so windy at the front. Mostly people come to take pictures when pulling in or out of port. People do try to see inside your cabin. They are just curious. Not really a problem. Just remember to close drapes at night or you might get a show when people think they are alone!
