  1. Think they are losing touch that they need us more than we need them.

Sad to say not really. If you dont book a cruise that just means it open for the next person in line. The only way we may get their attention is 8f 5he entire passenger lists went on stike and canceled the day before the cruise. Even then they would not care because the would have enough everyonespace money. That is all they really care about. On my first cruise back in the 70s some of the staff did a walkout in Miami. Delayed departure till new crews got there. I asked a staff member what was going on here told me " the ship line would agree to everything in Miami, then at the next port the stickers would be fired and replaced "

  2. It is quite apparent that RCCI DOES NOT CARE about anything that is said on this forum, at least one complaint filed with the state of Fl or any other feedback except Great Cruise, Great Staff etc.

We have already decidedone this upcoming cruise will be the very last one RCCI , not that they care because someone else will take my place. The RCCI loyalist will continue to sail with them with the pretense that they are special because the spent a gazillion dollars to get a few perks. Even if you are the one the Captain recognized you as top cruise, the heat day he might not even remember you name the next day. The next cruise it will be somebody else

  3. That was point here

I have been trying to make her and with the state if FL. As long as they give it no problem.

That thinking fails in a couple of ways.

    1. Should have never been taken to start with.

    2. Since it was taken ( Thief)

    3. Since they give it back it now becomes a short term loan. So if it is a support term loan then there is an expected return on investment. Since they are a large company, they should get prime interest rate currently 4%. Adds to that any foreign transaction fees that were charged . Cost x .04 x# of days + foreign fees if charged. Now how much is your time? How much time did you spend on the phone with them.

At was on the cruise planner last night. Dinning options were open. Iwent we booked the cruise did mytime dinning. I tried to set the time could not had to call this morning

Why bring that up here because it is just one more thing that is leading to me not give them anymore of m money

  4. Interesting analogy.

I'm sure someone at Wells Fargo said to themselves "What's a few fake accounts - who'll notice? Who'll care?"

    What's a few charges for bottled water - who'll notice, who'll care?

I'm not one for tinfoil hats, but this has been going on for too long, across too many ships. They can't be targeting Cruise Critic members only (or CAN they, pauses to adjust tinfoil hat). We are a tiny % of their cruisers, you have to think this is happening for none cruise critic members too. The numbers are not chump change if true.

I doubt there are active message boards debating the merits of opening bank accounts in shorts or long pants, so the Wells Fargo victims could never find each other on their own. Happy this thread got started and is bringing attention to this matter.

That the point I have been trying to make. If everyone would contact the state of Florida it would get more attention. All of us talking about here is not going to solve the problem. It is pure and simple theft. Figure we may be at the most 1% of passangers

    Consumer's complaint:

I am a member of a cruise forum Cruise critic.com. My cruise is scheduled for Oct There is an on going discussion for RCCI charging

guest 12.28 for water from the minibar post cruise when they did not use anything from the minibar. This appears to be going on fleet

wide. Today there are over 200 comments with the first being posted Dec 2016 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2434965

So far everyone that has caught the charge it has been refunded. If this is happening to every passenger and only a handfull

are getting refunds, then RCCI is stealing alot of money from passangers. The last peroson to poststated the only got $12.00 of

the$12.28. This does not take into account foreign exchange rates or the interest charge from the credit card company.

    What would satisfy the complaint:

Make RCCI stop this practice that amount to thief by conversion.
