  1. After you enter the gift cards onto your Carnival account, is there any reason to keep them?

I'd like to just toss them, but afraid something will come up that I might need the numbers later for some reason.

I keep them until after my cruise is completed in case of any hiccups, but that is my own paranoia.

  2. I have used Carnival e-gift cards through a different rewards program that I get through my employer. I am sailing on the Victory on March 27th and was able to use multiple gift cards to book this sailing. You can not use them through a TA, only when booking directly with Carnival. However, you can apply them to your account as on board credits. From what I understand you can do this by calling Carnival after your booking is complete, and I am sure you would have to present the print out to the pursers desk on board. They are worth the savings if you plan on spending the money anyway!

I just used 2,000 worth of gift cards through my TA.

  3. Wow, just wow! Reporting what? Legit questions and hopefully you got the answers you were looking for. Your husband can began to buy his beers so he does not hug his limit. The novelty cups are extra but the beer may be used on Cheers. They do save your wine for the next night ( there is a corkage fee). This thread is way better than the usual "Is it worth it" question. Have fun on your cruise!!

  4. I have over 400,000 points so I'm hoping someone posts when these are available because I keep missing them

When you go to the site and the cards are not listed any longer that usually means it will be up in 24-48 hours. The cards usually sell out in under 24 hours. Last time the went on sale around 10 pm and I ordered the next day at 7 am. They sold out by 10am. I have also seen where they have listed them at 2am. Best advice I can offer.

  5. I was a huge fan of über, until 2:30 am today and we were notified that my husbands account was charged 200 euros and $56 at 9am in France. Easy fix with our bank but left a sour taste. I did just find out they had a huge hack and seems as if we were caught in it.

  6. I was on an 8 day cruise out of NYC on Splendor. A family had no issue with a young female family member twerking in the night club. They had no problem with her squatting down and doing her movements. She was really good at it. A young man started dancing with her. It looks like the young man may have went too far with her on the dance floor. The family wanted to protect the honor of their family member. The family beat the young man up. Throwing chairs and bottles at him and through him flying right onto the tile floor. There was not enough Carnival security because they were not able to do anything to stop this brawl. I am not sure what happened to these animals.

I guess this is the way these no class idiots thought was the best way to protect her honor instead of stopping her from twerking in the first place.

Even if she was naked it gave him no right to cross the line. Not defending their actions, just saying.

  7. I used this service for me and my family on May 1 to 5. After using this company to get a behind the scenes look and doing research, this is the biggest rip off I have ever seen in my life. This company is overcharging customers for what they are selling. I see that the "packages" include transportation from MCO to certain airport hotels "complimentary in the package price".....whats funny is, that is free anyways... ALWAYS! TRAVELERS BEWARE AND KNOW WHAT THESE THINGS COST INDIVIDUALLY! Don't be another victim to this company's greedy ways of earning a living.

They may have charged for the free services, but what about hotels? Right now I am looking at $159 with GPC, when I go to the actual site~$400+.
