On my last cruise there were women on the other side, one morning at 3 am I swear they were in the room with me talking! It felt like I was sitting in the middle of their convo! Never again!

What would our options be if we are a group of 7 adults and want to book a room at Comfort Suites to be able to use the Atlantis facilities?

I booked Comfort Suites and we were also a party of 7, we had to book 2 rooms. They only allow 4 wristbands per room.

On my last cruise I did not see any on my hall, I did however decorate and it made a huge difference when DH was stumbling back to our cabin. There were a lot of random people signing my dryerase magnets, I loved it.

Looks like they added a piece of your price drop towards your pre-paid gratuities.

OK, let's see if this works 9trying to post link to specific post in an old, closed thread that got off on a FF tangent. Sarge posted a particularly telling photo of FF - one that seems to reveal his true creepiness.

Heck I am platinum and still show up to the port after 2pm even though FTTF is "free" for me.
Priority debarking is not for me either as I self carry off
Priority tendering is not for me since I tend to sleep in/get off later
The platinum line at guest services is nice.
Bottom line of my story is I get it for free and really only use 1 of the 4 main perks of it. Some people like the other 3 perks and want to pay for it which is fine. Better that someone else gets the use of those perks I am not using :) Everyone vacations differently, pay for it, dont pay for it, but in the end does it really matter how others travel?
Nicely put!

Thanks for the tips! I was feeling the same way!

I did buy this ball gown.....regular price was over 200$$...closer to 300$...I tried it on...loved it...felt like a princess......didn't buy it..but waited...it went dow nt o40$ (39.99), I used a 20% off coupon....32$.....it was...
AND laat summer I cruised on the brand new ship Royal Princess.....formal nights were formal...so it was the PERFECT place to wear it, couldn't find a tiara...so I bought a blingy headband....and had a wonderful evening...and had many people complimenting me....
My other gown was a sexy one.....and lighter weight...I wore dresses to dinner every night and my luggage was under 50 pounds!.....I chose the lightest weight dresses I had...the ball gown wasn't THAT bad...just a tad bulky...

Traveling to Nassau 9/03/14 on the Norwegian Sky, my Fiancee is dying to visit Atlantis. He just wants to see it, not interested in the beach or waterpark. I would like to visit the casino and aquarium. Will be in Nassau from 8-6. Is it cheaper to book on our own or through the ship? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
It will be cheaper to book on your own BUT booking through the ship guarantees your arrival to and from ship ontime!

Best part of the trip for me!

"Hennessy Pure White" not available in the states to our knowledge. We don't share that with many, keep it in the special vault only cause we can't get more until the next cruise! Lol
I agree, purchase it for home and friends also.

I am new to cruising but I select based off of itinerary. I am a bit nervous about the sea days. Not too sure if we will stay entertained, I am especially nervous about my teens staying entertained.

Awesome Review!!!! My first cruise is in August and I am so excited after reading your review. Different ship, different ports but still excited!!:)

We sailed out of Charleston in March and had no problems. The only small issue was having to stay in line to pay to park. It wasn't the quickest but it sure beats Boston where it takes an hour or more to leave because you pay to park after the cruise. In Charleston at the end of the cruise you basically just hope on a shuttle get your car and go. It is really not that bad at all.
Good to hear, sailing soon!

We are going in September and just want to go to Atlantis to see the Aquarium and visit the casino, and look around the resort.... I am confused on whether this requires me to book a room for the day or can we just go to the resort and pay to simply do the Aquarium and then visit the casino?

Room purchase is not required. All is needed is a day pass(minus the slides and waterpark) for about $70 per person.

My wife is a resident and travels with her Portuguese passport. She must present it when we debark after the cruise even with her resident ID.
The agents also make remarks on how she is only with me for residency and why she hasn't become a citizen yet EVERY SINGLE time we cross.

That is a little rude!

Does not the technology exists today that a "chip" can be implanted onto your S&S card that will contain an "app" that holds a "cube" that you can customize your daily schedule instead of printing a paper daily "Fun Times"...Carnival could place scanners all around the ship where you could swipe your S&S card to receive updates and changes or link it to a kiosh
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has such an "app" today that you can download on your tablet or cell phone...would not work on a cruiseship because of high charges for wifi and roaming cost which means most folks turn off their devices for the entire length of their cruise
Is JH and "the suits" working on this to be beta testedon the next generationvessel
great idea!

I did Resort for a Day and it was $350 for a family of 4 at Comfort Suites
Does this include access to the whole Atlantis or just the waterpark?
