Hi, will be sailing on Sun Princess next Feb. i booked a mini cabana suite, but am wondering what the difference between that and a reserve mini cabana. As always thanks for the help.

Visit the Ports of Call / Europe section, and poke around there for port information. You may also want to look at some independent sources [e.g. Rick Steves] as those do not conflict with CC's restrictions on promoting travel agents.

 

That being said - take a look at the 'Deals' and 'Find a Cruise' dropdowns at the top of the page and browse around - then visit reviews for selected ships and the forums for the cruise line for more information.

 

What have you thought about so far in planning? 

 

Budget? Number / age in party? Season of the year? Trip duration?

We are sailing on Oasis for NYE. It is a family reunion . Does Oasis have things like awhite party, or any themed parties? Also do you onow if there is added entainment because of holiday? We just booked a cruise on the Oasis and we will be going to St. Thomas and St. Marteen. Am looking for suggestions on excursions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am overwhelmed. We like doing anything really.

Thinking of booking Oasis of tge Seas and have several late 20’s and 30 year olds who want to know if there is nightclub and dancing. We were on IOS 2 years ago and they had one, wonderfing if the Oasis has same or similar. Any help greatly appreciated.

hello all, I have never sailed Carnival and it appears I won’t. After booking a cruise with 3 other ladies, two to a room, I have found out I will not be able to go. The cruise is less than 30 days away, I know my money is lost, but I am wondeting how this will affect my cabin mate, since my share is already paid for, does she just get the room to herself, will this cost her any extra. All advice is welcomed. Sick to my stomach over this.

we will be sailing out of Ft Lauderdale which is a first for me. Can anyone recommend a hotel for overnight stay that would offer shuttle service to the port?

Hello All, I am booking a cruise and while booking I was looking at drink packages. I have purchased in the padt, but now it says all in the cabin must purchase, never been like before. Is this the new rule on all RC shops now, if so when did this change. Very sad about this.

Hi all, booked on Oasis this Sunday!! I was getting excited at first but now am having some real anixiety as to the crowds!! This will be our 3rd cruise!! We sailed on IOS for NYE and while the boat was sold out it never felt crowded!! But with this now being turned into eclipse cruise I am so worried!! Will there be places to watch eclipse other than the pool decks? I am afarid we will get squashed!!

I too live in Orlando and agree you need to allow at least 4 hours port to port!! So much of I-4 is under construction and traffic is horrendous even on Sunday mornings!! I travel the Tampa/Orlando route regularly and it has become a diffcult and painful drive!!

We were on IOS for New Years and they had one. We danced until about 3:30 am then got pizza and crawled into bed around 5:00 am!! One of the best times ever and best NYE ever. Actual nightclubs are extremely fun!! Did not realize they don't have them on all ships!! This was only our second cruise ever!!

Hello Alll, we are new to cruising with just a couple under our belt. This is our first Oasis class cruise. While very excited I have become a bit overwhelmed having to pick shows now. My question is we would like to try specialty resturants because the MDR times are kind of strange 5:30 too early and 8:00 too late!! Is it worth buying a dining package and will we have trouble with reservations for specialty restaurants when we get on the ship? Any help I s always greatly appreciated!!

We did one last year and it was a blast. They give you favors at dinner and its a party everywhere!! Free champagne at midnight!! Some in our group didnt go to bed until 4:00 am!! If you have jever done one you should!!
