  1. Celestyal Cruise Lines website states, "Freedom to cancel your cruise with no fees up to 90 days prior to depart." This is a lie. After five different changes to our initial booking over a period of three years (postponed, changed ship name, ship SOLD!, etc.), Celestyal could not ultimately confirm our booking for January 2023. Exhausted, frustrated, and disappointed from all the hassles, we finally cancelled our booking even more than 180 days prior to depart, and Celestyal now says they want a $60 cancellation fee because our cruise date is in 2023. WHAT?!? As I write this, today is June 10, 2022. So theoretically if your cruise date is BEFORE September 10, you can cancel with no fee. But since our cruise date is 2023, we have to pay a cancellation fee?!? BS! ...Pirates of the Mediterranean!!!
