  1. Actually I have a question relating to the food if anyone here knows, which could explain some of our issues: We always take late dining. Is it plausible to think that in late dining much of the food has been sitting longer? Obviously they're cooking constantly with that many people to feed, but given how much of ours was way overdone I almost wonder if the food is sitting in warming trays cooking more and more from the earlier service? I wonder if the earlier seating was better?

No, it wasn't on the Glory. My least favorite part of the day....dining room food!!

  2. Most agencies do not charge to pick-up & drop-off at different locations within FL, especially if they are "normal" not exotic rentals. Just check with their sites, you can put in drop off at different locations. We're picking up one in Gainesville & dropping in Miami (w/ free shuttle to cruise port) in Jan. One way cruise, flying back into G'ville.

    What company are you using?

  3. Thanks for your comments everyone, not worried about it being a booze cruise she will fit right in!!! She's worried about not seeing land and freaking out, I would much rather have 3 days of her panicking than 4 or 5. If anyone has fun times I would love to see them

  4. Since it was debarkation day, it seems there would've been a lot of people around. I would think there would be someone who witnessed this tragedy. Also wonder what her injuries were that she died so quickly. I know of two people personally who sustained head injuries from falling from more than 20 feet, both survived their fall but both have traumatic brain injuries. One of the incidents was over five years ago and the other was over one year ago, but both are still alive.

In the big picture, I suppose it doesn't matter how she fell or even what the cause of death was. What matters is that this family has lost their precious baby. My heart goes out to them.

She hit the table that sits in front of the couches and then fell to the floor. They had stopped doing CPR before they left the ship, she didn’t have a neck or back brace on either. I would say by what I seen on the floor she died before she was taken off the ship.

  5. No glass around the atrium is damaged and they wouldn’t have a matching pane to replace it with that quick. She went up and over.

How is the mood around the ship? It’s always sad when vacation is over but yesterday had a whole different feel about it, I witnessed many people praying and several starring at the lobby with tears in their eyes. I don’t know how Dustin and his staff would be able to be their usual happy selves at sail away when this happened just hours before.
