Really sad. I just watched the Webinar from May 7th by the Princess, SVP of Sales. He didn't give any definitive time period that they will be taking in processing refunds for cruises. Rather open ended. Also, no firm position on the proposed over 70 doctor's letter until all of the CLIA agrees on what to do.

Yesterday, filed a multiple disputes with the Princess Barclay's VISA credit card company for the two cruises Princess cancelled that we had already paid in full. Figured that waiting almost 2 months for them to refund our money was more than reasonable on our part and we are in no position to continue to bankroll a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & pcl--a multibillion dollar corporation.

We have 10 (ten) booking in 2021; however Princess still owes us for two cruises they cancelled and cancellation expenses to get us home. We will not keep these future bookings if our funds continue to be retained by Princess and not refunded expeditiously.

Princess cancelled our cruise while we were on board the Emerald ending on March 15th and the two remaining B2B cruises (Panama Canal westbound and LA round trip to Hawaii). We selected the cash refund as well as completed the forms Princess provided for our expenses to get home from Fort Lauderdale. We completed all the Princess required paperwork for the cancelled cruises and as of today, we have not received anything--Zero...We are beginning to feel like we are the piggy bank for Princess.

Same here. We are waiting for the expenses to be paid that Princess promised when they put us off the cruise in Fort Lauderdale and cancelled the two ongoing cruises.

Why purchase Gift Cards when the cruise line hasn't repaid guests for cancelled cruises? Not sure this would be a wise investment of funds at this point.

I'm getting that I am not connected on my Android phone. When I go into my Profile, then My Journeys, I can see two Bookings that are not mine and with the wrong Captain's Circle level. Both of these bookings have me embarking in May of 2019???

I have the same issue this morning. Can't access Ocean Ready because it is not recognizing that I am connected to the Internet and wants me to connect to Medallionet.

This morning I submitted 3 Requests for Shareholder Benefit on upcoming cruises. In 45 minutes the benefit was posted to each cruise! You can't ask for service any better than this. 😄😄😄

We recently did a B2B on the Ruby Princess. When we arrived in the room there was not a barrel chair. Tried going a couple of days without the chair; however we found it to be very uncomfortable to watch any movies On Demand or any thing else on TV. Additionally, sitting on the bad was hard on the back and not pleasant. After a couple of days we asked our Stateroom Attendant to please see if he could find us a chair (any kind of chair). He came back later with a barrel chair, one of a handful that was still on board. He assured us that if we return to any Princess ship in the future, chairs will not be available for any stateroom. I truly hope that Princess Cruises reconsiders their decision to remove the barrel chair from the staterooms.

We tried exactly what you recommend on our two B2B cruises on the Ruby in the Mexican Riviera recently. Our cabin attendant told us that on the cruise prior they had dumped all the stateroom chairs and there were none available on the ship. This situation of not having a chair in a balcony stateroom made it a very uncomfortable to remain in the stateroom and one of us having to be seated on the bed. I do not understand how removing the chair in anyway enhances the customer experience or safety.

Wow....So much for booking early! Looks like Princess has again rolled out a new policy without letting passengers know anything. We just got an email from our travel agent this morning about this situation.😡

Have been on b2b cruises where the crew knew for many days that some executive or executives from shore side was coming on board, whether it be from Princess or Carnival. Those that dined in Anytime dining had a reserved table, with flowers and wine at the table prior to them being seated. So much for surprising the crew!!
When I was in the corporate environment, we never told anyone about a surprise visit and used our "Secret Shoppers" on almost a daily basis.

I'm sure you guys will have a great time in your new Season 8. We did this earlier this year, spending 2 1/2 months in SE Asia and 2 1/2 in Australia/New Zealand. Be sure to do one of the "Blue Hole" tours while in Vanuatu--really great swim!!

We have canceled the 2019 World Cruise and 11 other Princess cruises. For us, it will be land tours/travel for awhile! Have seen too many cut-backs and price increases in the past couple of years.:(:(

Captains Circle Host on the WC told us that they were just changing the Special Member Award. He didn't say they were doing away with it. However, they were also giving a bottle of Prosecco rather than a bottle of good Champagne to the most traveled guest so who knows what the award will be.
Hi Stacey--We saw the new Special Member Award while on the Emerald Princess recently. It is a laminated box with a photo of a Princess ship on top. Really poor quality!!! Some friends of ours just returned from Alaska and said that the top 3 most traveled received the box and that most of them would not be keeping it. This appears to be a major departure from what was done during previous years.:(

If this is in fact true, I suspect that the company will fold and we won't see any funds reimbursed. If I'm wrong in my assumption, it would be nice for the highly paid executives at Princess to make their intentions known.
