  1. I agree about Orient Beach. It is always a must see for me when I go to St. Martin. I must admit I don't mind the nude beach, even though I do not join in lol. It was a little awkward running into our newly made cruise friends though. Haven't been to Maho yet, but plan to this November.

  2. I haven't been on the Allure, but I was on the Oasis last month. We really enjoyed the Windjammer and never found it unreasonably crowded. I agree that you should try the different options, but I wouldn't avoid the Windjammer. If you enjoy live music/dancing I really enjoyed Dazzles. Nice addition to the night club and Boleros.

  3. Certain cruises definitely elevated the price of the 1/2 person on this promotion. When it started the price for a balcony quad was $3700 for 4. Now it is over $5000!!! The 1/2 person is $2,300-2400 each!!! So even if the 3/4 person was free you would still be averaging over $1200 per person for just a balcony room. If you priced a double balcony the price was around $1400, so the 1/2 person was close to $1,000 more! This was the Allure Thanksgiving week. Fortunately we booked the first day of the sale and got out interior quad for $2,800 with taxes, insurance and per paid gratuities.

  4. I would settle for Freedom in Baltimore - no need to get greedy for Oasis class ship :).

Ideal cruise would be Southhampton, Boston, NYC, and Baltimore, with overnights in Boston and NYC - England, so we have ride home after long weekend in London, Boston overnight so we could see family, NYC overnight so could see Broadway show, and Baltimore so we could drive home...lol.

  5. Here is mine, it's not realistic b/c the ship is too big for the ports and RC doesn't go to Turks & Caicos, but I can only dream, right!? I'd call it the "Bermuda & Saints" cruise.

    Ship:Oasis/Allure, 14-nights

Home Port: Baltimore (I can drive there so it's cheap to get to!)

    Day 1: Leave Baltimore

    Day 2: at sea

    Day 3: Bermuda

    Day 4: Bermuda

    Day 5: at sea

    Day 6: at sea

    Day 7: St. Thomas

    Day 8: St. Maarten

    Day 9: St. Croix

    Day 10: St. Kitts

    Day 11:at sea

    Day 12: Turks & Caicos

    Day 13: at sea

    Day 14:at sea

    Day 15: back to Baltimore

This would be a dream for me too! I live less than an hour from Baltimore, but have never cruised out of there because I'm totally spoiled by the big ships.
