We really enjoyed the Dolphin excursion. It was at a park that started with a C. Anyway aside from the dolphins they had a nice little beach, a pool, a sea lion show. It was really nice.

We cruised on the Freedom three times in a row and still didn't do everything. It is an amazing ship and my kids loved it. We did just do the Oasis last week and we loved that too, but I would go on another Freedom class ship in a heartbeat. Tell him he will have a blast, don't worry.

We were just on the Oasis the week of Feb 15 and we were able to buy the cup with the soda package on board. The only issue they had was that they ran out of cups a couple of days into the cruise.

I can't remember the name of the beach, but it was toward the end on the right past the markets. It was lovely and close to the water park. Whatever you do stay away from the beach on the left that was closest to the entrance. It is extremely rocky even in the water. You cannot even walk in it without shoes.

I believe they check ID for the nightclub as well. The Crypt I think it was called.

I was not at all impressed the first time I went. We took a tour of the island. Not much to see. They were just building Atlantis so we didn't even see that. I do remember the water being really pretty, so perhaps a beach day would be nice. Or we might just enjoy that gorgeous ship and maybe take advantage of some spa specials

Definitely can't hurt to call because things seem to change every day. Now our Allure Thanksgiving cruise is showing KSF prices for balcony room, but they are extremely expensive. Over $2,000 pp for the 1st and 2nd.

I thought Dave Chapman was very funny and entertaining on our Cruise in Sept. on the Oasis!.....He will be missed!
Next Cruise is on Allure In April.....How is Ken Rush?
I thought he was funny enough, but I didn't think he interacted with the passengers very much. Only saw him outside of shows once the whole ship. I loved Ken Rush. You saw him a lot talking to many passengers when we were on the Freedom. We had a couple of conversations with him. He even took my kids for a ride with him on his Segway. I think he deserves to be their top guy!

I searched several cruises on the RCL website that specifically stated that the KSF offer was available just to find out that it was not. Very annoying and a waste of time...
This whole experience has been annoying. We are still waiting to see if RCL is going to honor the sale price for our friends.

Honestly I would keep the Allure, especially if your parents are going. We just got off of the Oasis last week with my whole family, parents included, and it was far and away the best vacation we have ever had. We loved it so much we just booked the Allure for Thanksgiving too'

Well I will be the lone voice of the Allure. Two Central Park rooms Thanksgiving week for 3800 seems like an amazing deal. Your kids will love the Oasis class ship. However I can't argue with the two cruises for the same price as one.

After 2+ hours on hold and another hour with the phone representative who was on hold with "resolutions" everything is set. They saw in their system that I booked at kids sail free and they said that their system switched it to "full fare" by mistake. They honored my original price. Props to Royal Caribbean for honoring their original price when they just as easily could have said "too bad".
I am so thrilled that our family of 4 will get to cruise on the Allure this Thansgiving!
That's awesome!!! So thrilled for both of us. I know it's going to be an awesome cruise!!!

*sale (not sake). Although I could probably use a shot of sake after dealing with this sale over the last 24 hours lol.

I think there is a certain number for each date. Maybe people cancel or they are replenishing.
I figured that those cabins had been cancelled, but why would they all of a sudden remove the sake if these cabins were set aside for the sale? Unless they figure the cruise is so popular that it's going to sell at the regular price. IDK but I'm so grateful I was able to book mine yesterday. Allure Thanksgiving for 4 for 2,334!!! I still can't believe it. November 22 not only is my 17th anniversary but my 1st anniversary of finishing treatment for breast cancer. We will have a lot to celebrate :-)

This whole KSF thing is just so crazy. All day the Allure Thanksgiving cruise was sold out except for balconies which were pricing without the sale at 5300-5800. Then about an hour ago they had all available balconies with the sale at 3100-3700. Now those same cabins are not on sale. What is going on?

Another "victim" of the disappearing special.
I called and We selected the room/ship/date and entered all of our information for the 5 of us (names/bdays) and then the special disappeared on her.
Ugghh...one and a half hours for nuthin' .
Even though you were on the phone with the agent they didn't honor the price?

I AM TRYING to price a triple B1 Catagory for Allure July 27/14...says balcony available but when I go to book it does not show the 3rd person free...is there a special code to enter ...thanks...
Unfortunately it might be sold out. There is no special code to put in. If it's available the reduced fare will automatically show up. You can keep trying though. If someone cancels or releases a hold it will be available again.

For us, its definitely a DEAL!!! Prime time August sailing when school's out. Serenade of the Seas Med Cruise 12 nights with 4 people in an inside cabin for $3689 (including Captain's Club certificate).
12 days!!! I'm so jealous. That sounds like an amazing deal. Have fun!

Did Dave Chapman just leave because he was our CD on Oasis last week. Personally I liked him ok. He certainly didn't make or break my cruise, but I've enjoys others more. Ken Rush and Richard Spacey are still my all time favorite!

To the people with holds: it says in big letters: LIMITED AVAILABILITY
Then it says: Hurry – availability is limited to a first come, first served basis. Offer ends March 31, 2014.
I didn't chance a hold because of those statements.
I agree not to trust the holds. I'm sure RC is going to take a guaranteed sale over a hold. However in my friends case I put the room on hold for them as I was the one organizing the group trip. As soon as they received the email they immediately went online to book. The sale price showed up on the booking, but as they were filling out the online forms they got kicked out of the system and when they went back it was up to $3700 from 2334! So in their case the RC supervisor agreed that their price should be honored because it was a computer malfunction. However apparently they weren't authorized to do it so they have to wait until tomorrow to see if some other department will approve the price. They did however take their deposit. Hopefully they will honor the price.
