you are permitted to bring a 12 pack of soda per person in your carry on when you board the ship. also you can pick up a 12 pack while in port and bring it on board as well. So may be cheaper to go that rout unless they drink a ton of soda.

We are doing a sand ceremony with our wedding on Sept. 28th. We are going with black and white sand. you can find some great sand ceremony kits on the knot.com or any of those wedding sites. we got some etched glass for a great price. also on the ceremony outline for you send back to "The wedding experience" they will have a place to select if you are doing a sand ceremony.;)

parking at the port may be an option on a short cruise but if you are going for a 7 or longer $20 a day is a lot. we used simpleairportparking.com you can park at a hotel near the airport and it cost around $5 or $6 a day. just grab a cab to the port for $30 and save a lot of $$$

I know that the Conquest has a conference room called the Gallery. We are having our wedding in that room in Sept. I don't have any pictures but I'm sure if you google it you can find some. I do know that there is a column in the room that I don't like but hey your only going to be in there for 15 minutes.

We are getting married on the Conquest while in port in Miami on Sept 28th. So exciting.

simpleairportparking.com has agreements with hotels near airport to park for extended time in the hotels lot. we booked for 7 days at $5.00 a day. taxi to port is about $35 each way. :cool:

for our wedding in Miami in September we ordered wayfarer sunglasses in several different colors with our names and wedding date on the side. It seemed like a cool beachy thing to do. it was about $70 for 35 pairs of sunglasses. made a neat little sign that says "Love can be blinding....Grab a pair of sunglasses". :cool:

has anyone used Carnival's formal wear rental for there wedding? I'm just a bit worried about them fitting right since they won't be able to try them on before hand.

Just booked cruise/embarkation day wedding package on Carnival Pride, leaving Baltimore on Sept. 28. We couldn't be more excited!

Have an on board wedding coming up in September at port of Miami. Need to know the best hotel for my guest who are not sailing just attending wedding. Most are flying in and wont have cars.
