Hi! RCCL newbie wanting to try it out. I have a question, me and hubby are looking at booking oasis for 7 day in grand balcony suite and currently it says my deposit would be $500. If I partake in this sale, would that mean my deposit was $250?

I'm sorry, I could have sworn I saw the menus before I went in April. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures of the menus. But if you do a search of menus, most ships that go to that port and have the American table option, the menu is the same. I'll show you some of you would like.

It would be at the end of Jan most likely. I'm not able to travel during spring break. Plus before the holiday...that's not a chance either.

The only reason why I choose to travel over school is because I have a very demanding job, I work most holidays and I am able to take vacations, but not during some "peak" times. I of course want the best for my children but I believe that family time is important as well as I do work 65+ hours a week.

So I have been thinking about booking a cruise during the school year. My kids are YOUNG, they will be in kindergarten and 2nd grade. I'm a little nervous, but not so much seeing how young they are.. What are your experiences with taking your kids out of school? I would like to hear about older children as well as I want to continue to cruise throughout their lives. Thanks!

There is truth in the "funk" feeling when you come back home. :( I have felt super sad about everything ending so quickly. It's like you plan for this for a year or more and then in two weeks, it's over just like that.

Luckily we have our at home reception in September so it helps I can lengthen everything out that way but still not the same.

 

So the question of the day is:

Where will we be cruising to next?!

 

Our flight coming home was delayed 6 hours so the two of us each received a flight voucher for 100.00. So now we have the excuse we HAVE to take another cruise because they expire within a year. We have done Carnival now twice so I think we are looking into Royal Carribbean. We don't even know where to start with them. Any tips on what to look for?

We booked the breeze for next year for our anniversary. I want to try the vista, but I'm not impressed with the destinations at the moment. I can't quite afford tickets to Europe and a cruise...

Well with the reduced deposit going on right now, I booked a cruise on breeze next year! I can finally join you guys with having a cruise booked!
