  1. The only reason why I choose to travel over school is because I have a very demanding job, I work most holidays and I am able to take vacations, but not during some "peak" times. I of course want the best for my children but I believe that family time is important as well as I do work 65+ hours a week.

  2. So I have been thinking about booking a cruise during the school year. My kids are YOUNG, they will be in kindergarten and 2nd grade. I'm a little nervous, but not so much seeing how young they are.. What are your experiences with taking your kids out of school? I would like to hear about older children as well as I want to continue to cruise throughout their lives. Thanks!

  3. There is truth in the "funk" feeling when you come back home. :( I have felt super sad about everything ending so quickly. It's like you plan for this for a year or more and then in two weeks, it's over just like that.

Luckily we have our at home reception in September so it helps I can lengthen everything out that way but still not the same.

So the question of the day is:

Where will we be cruising to next?!

Our flight coming home was delayed 6 hours so the two of us each received a flight voucher for 100.00. So now we have the excuse we HAVE to take another cruise because they expire within a year. We have done Carnival now twice so I think we are looking into Royal Carribbean. We don't even know where to start with them. Any tips on what to look for?

We booked the breeze for next year for our anniversary. I want to try the vista, but I'm not impressed with the destinations at the moment. I can't quite afford tickets to Europe and a cruise...
