  1. I have one....what's the OBC offer?

They had a $50 air credit I know.

We had tons of charges on there - mainly with air and celebrity from this past spring transatlantic....and the credit maxed out at $300.00. We are told this is ONLY available to us in the form of cruisefare credit and not OBC.

  2. Celebrity doesn't need to read these threads to know their website is a disaster - they know it already and have for a long time.

The support, technical and communications end of the business is weak despite the resources to make these things world-class.

To this point, then, the commitment is simply not there.

They do the job on the high seas and leave these other items as orphans in the storm.

If you've had good luck, you haven't dealt with them much or you are very lucky.

  3. We had Bart as our butler earlier this year. He was marvelous. I had thought about a corner suite but was hesitant since the only ones open were on 7th deck when we booked. I was worried about the service being only one of two suites on the deck. What was your experience?

Sky Suite last April - we could easily live without the butler service which just added another layer between us and reservations we wanted to make. Did nothing special and another potential trip-end tip.

    Provided incorrect information several times.

The real resource who was very helpful to us was the concierge in Michaels Club. She even fixed things the butler messed up.

My thought: don't make any decisions based on butler service unless you're trying to impress yourself or your friends being able to say it.

  4. Oh dear......just over two weeks ago I rang customer service(UK) after waiting 57 minutes to get through I eventually bought some OBC today I looked on my cruise planner! Guess what ...no OBC showing. I rang again today to query this to be informed it had been overlooked. Was then informed several hours ago now that I would receive an email showing it had been credited. No email no OBC showing. I asked to apply some further OBC to my next cruise....37 minutes later the guy picked up the phone and said sorry I forgot you were on hold. As I had an appointment I could not further be put on hold as I was already running late by this time. Was informed I would receive a phone call at 3 pm to organise this, I know it's only 40 minutes late at this point. But no phone call and I'm really peeved that I've spent best part of my day either ringing celebrity or waiting for the, to call.....come on celebrity what's happened to your customer service??? At this moment I am not a happy bunny[emoji36][emoji36][emoji36]

As a stockholder in the parent and a frequent celebrity cruiser, these guys get a D- for customer service, website and follow-up - and that is very, very dismaying. They have the resources to be among the best....the commitment just is not there.

  5. Disagree.... Stepped on to our balcony for a minute and the door slid closed and we were locked out. This was in March on the Infinity. Had a hard time explaining to non english speaking neighbours that we need help

    .Eventually we were freed!!

Wondering how you got locked out with the handle in the open position....we've been on Equinox, Reflection and Silhouette.....never ever a problem. Other ships have a different system??

  6. Only WIFI freebies I'm aware of is 90 minutes (per person) for Captain's Club Elite and 60 minutes for the Captain's Club level below Elite.....wonder if this perk is new and in addition to the Club credit - maybe use Cruise Critic first then go to your Elite perk....interested in the responses....OR the "CC" meant Captain's Club....
