In Olden the hotel has a huge speaker outside of the hotel.
Every cruise ship on leaving gets the same farewell Andrea Bocelli singing Time to say goodbye.
Its blasted all across the fjord,,,makes the hairs stand up on your neck.

I have a shop made booking for later in the year and not confident it will go ahead, even although it's a few months away.
If it's cancelled and shops are not re-opened, and reservations made there not included in the refund process, that will simply extend the ongoing telephone contact problem.
When shops do re-open they will be inundated with less than satisfied customers - and the staff will take the flak for TUI's chaotic handling of the situation.
Hi we were booked to cruise on Discovery Sept 19th ,had an email cancelling it ,last week ,only paid deposit balance was due on 29th June ,we were a shop booking ,waiting for refund code .

Having cruised around the med quite a few times now, I was looking at the Baltic cruises on Explorer 2 for next year. The itineraries look interesting and the two I'm considering are
Baltic Charms 20th June - Oslo, Gdyniak, St Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm, Visby, Warnemunde, Kalundborg or Baltic Explorer 11th July - Skagen, Kiel, Tallinn, St Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm, Warnemunde, Copenhagen.
I know both are similar itineraries and price and would welcome other cruisers opinions if they have travelled on either route before and the highlights. My (wife's) biggest concern is the general weather day to day and sea state. Having been in the Med for the last 6/7 summers and enjoying great weather and calm seas, are we going to be able to swap for the same !
I would welcome any advice/experiences other cruisers have had to help us with our decision.
We have done a Baltic cruise twice in St Petersburgh we used Denrus for private tour only 10 of us on minibus booked online no problems at all saw much more than people on cruiseline tour as we were able to get around better. All other stops we just did our own thing . -
I always pack the just incase clothes ,try to use basic colour black & white then add a colour but seem to always have more than I need !!!!

I’m glad you find it useful busby:) I’m trying to get a lot of it done this weekend, and I’ll add some photos as well.
The hair dryer was located in one of the drawers near the vanity. The outlets are located at the vanity. The hair dryer has a button on the handle that must be depressed in order for the dryer to work. Should you have long or thick hair, you may find it useful to bring a thick rubber band to hold the button down while styling your hair.
Thankyou 😊

I'm doing the identical itinerary in February.
Can i ask how long it took from going down to collect a tender ticket to arriving at the port in Halong Bay on day one?
Were there any delays getting on or off the ship at any ports due to immigration?
I'm specifically wondering what time to arrange to meet our tour guide at Laem Chabang (in Thailand we're doing Bangkok on day one and the area around Pattaya on day two because i really want to see a monastery and museum there)?
Anything you recommend or don't recommend doing at any of the ports?
Also not asia board related but did any of the food onboard stand out as being either really good or pretty poor?
Thanks for any help.
