And, my brothers dollar is just as green as yours. You will know who he is. On the next cruise, he will be the guy sitting next to you at dinner talking in a voice that can be heard across the room. His language will be colorful (no cursing, just colorfull). His muscle shirt will say " I am with stupid". Next to him is his wife that will be just as loud and will be asking you to take pictures for her. And she will want to show you all the funny pictures they took yesterday. They will be harrassing the waiter asking for a 3rd plate of food.
When you go to the jacuzzi, he will be the one singing with a beer bottle as a microphone. His 325 pound wife will be showing off her new bikini.
The kids will be dive bombing into the pool. And running from one end of the pool deck to the other getting points for each plate of food they knock over.
You will see him again riding up and down the elevator playing keep away from his kids who are running on the stairs.
No worry though, they have green money.
That's funny stuff reminds me of National Lampoon

Booked large balcony GTY on pride of America in 2012 what we received was a regular balcony on the aft Starboard side right by the HVAC units, the entire length of the cruise we could hear a hum 24/7 was not happy but that's the chance you take to save a few bucks, will never go that route again

We did a round trip from Vancouver and loved it, but it all depends on what you want out of it as the itinerary is slightly different with one ways, definitely get a balcony if you are doing glacier bay the ship will go by the really close stuff on each side so all can see from their balcony. We had the owners suite in September was worth every penny for the balcony view and space. Our friends had the inside cabin and didnt get to enjoy any veiw during the mornings and evenings with their coffee and cocktails respectively. As far as the roughness of the sea goes it's a crap shoot, the cruise before us had nothing but glass like conditions where as we had some very nautical weather causing many to get a bit put off, at the very least a balcony can help the sea sickness by focusing on the horizon

We were charged from the specialty restaurants when we had in suite dining, if you buy the dining package you will receive the food for no additional cost

If you are lucky enough to be in a suite, make sure your butler is Randy, I swear he can read your mind, we never went without anything, he was very courteous and non intrusive, I will book a cruise again just to have this guy around

Have been on two (2) cruises with NCL and have never sat in the MDR yet, buffet was just what the doctor ordered for the DW and I, lots of selection, that differs from lunch plus a few repeats such as the bread and salads, may be a bit packed at times but it's great for in and out dining

When you go look around at the people with the really young kids and babies. Then look at the people that left the kids at home and see which one you think is having a better time. I'm sorry but no matter what anyone says there is no reason to bring a baby on a cruise.
Bo
I think you are wrong about that

When my DW and I were on the jade, we did the Ultimate Rome tour by private mini buss, very small group and had the very best Guide Named Rita, but she liked to be called Momma. We didnt wait in any lines at any of our stops, best tour to date.

Not always.
I was a group leader' date=' in a suite, from the US; no luggage tags. Though all the members of my group did. Go figure![/quote']
Go figure, at least your group got them rather than printing cheesy paper ones
