I've seen the sunshine to key west, Nassau, and Freeport and the other one is to half moon cay, Freeport and Nassau. Anyone done any of these ports and which one would you recommend?

My 20012 cruise was Freeport Half Moon Cay and Nassau. All three were beautiful, we didn't do excursions. We opted to just do what was close to ship. Nassau we went to the Straw Market. Absolutely loved Half Moon Cay.

It was my first cruise. I loved it I was on a specialty cruise so activity was everywhere. We only ate at dining room Lido and Buffet.

I sailed on the Fascination it was great. Half Moon Cay was our favorite port. We were the only ship at the private island. Jacksonville was an easy terminal. We went early to avoid lines.

I am doing Paradise out of Tampa next year.

So far I have made up shirts for both of the...

 

It has the cruise map with the dates on the back and the carnival logo with the name of the ship on the front...

 

Also made up some boarding passes for the flights..now to pull the rest of it together!

Surprise is this weekend!

I tried hard to watch my diet closely and not over eat because of the meds. That's horrible that it made you diabetic. I was so worried i would gain it all back. I prayed and it worked. :)

I know. I love trying new stuff and all the ice cream I want! I'm wheelchair bound so I have to use elevators. Some folks I know use only stairs to help not gaining while cruising.

Thanks, Jan, keep up the hard work. I just finished steroids to treat an eye problem. I was able to maintain my weight during the 14 days of treatment. I'm ready to get back to losing before I cruise. There will be NO DIET on the cruise 😃

Just found the thread last week. I am enjoying it. I've lost 25 lbs since September. 15 more until my 40lb goal. My cruise is in 284 days February 26-21.

I did $150 for me for me 5 days. I got $ 25 back. There was not drinking or gambling on my Christian cruise. I had prepaid tips. So I bought my soda card a pedicure and ship souvenirs. To me the soda card was worth it. The water was like salt water, also juices were included in the soda card. The pedi was the best ever definitely will do it again.

I enjoyed The Singing at Sea In 2012. I'm planning to go again next year. Carnival Paradise is charted completely by Templeton Tours. It is reasonably priced.
