    MSC Seaside - Temporary closure of cruise operations
    *IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING MSC SEASIDE - TEMPORARY DISruption*
    ALL MSC SEASIDE CRUISES MUST BE CANCELLED UNTIL 18.07.2022.
    Starting on the 19th. July 2022, the ship will resume its regular route.
    For all guests currently on board, the following technical disembarkation stops will be introduced:
    Valencia on the 7th july
    Marseille on the 8th july
    Genoa is 9. july
    Old town at 10. july
    Palermo on 07/11
    All interested clients who are between 07/07. July and the 18th July aboard the MSC Seaside, will be informed in writing promptly.
    Guests can choose:
    Rebooking another MSC Cruises cruise is free
    MSC offers Fly & Cruise guests boarding Genoa, alternatively the MSC Splendida
    All guests rebook their trip will receive a refundable onboard credit of up to €400 per person added to their booking

    This happened to me and I emailed msc who at first confirmed all was ok with my member number. I emailed back to say it still was not working, they then told me my number had expired (our last cruise was 2019) and had issued me a new account, however we have been dropped from silver to classic. Been emailing them every day for more than 2 weeks and geting no response.

    They pick up right outside the terminal-- no special place like you see at some airports. Just look for your driver. There wasn't any surge pricing for us and I doubt it would be enough to trigger that anyway. We took ours to a hotel in Beverly Hills but the charged amount was the same as the estimate and was a bit less when compared to a taxi and extremely reasonable compared to what our hotel was charging for a car service. 

    Please could you advise a rough estimate of the price you paid for the uber as we are doing the same trip to a hotel in Beverley hills. Thank you.

  5. If you are enquiring about bags and go, you put your luggage outside your cabin as normal.

    Then after disembarking the ship you collect your luggage in the luggage hall like every one else.

    There will be a stand in the luggage hall to drop your luggage with the company. They will take your luggage in a van to the airport ready for you to collect later in the day. It is cheaper to pre-book this service.

    You make your own way to the airport to collect your luggage and then get your flight home.

    Give yourself time to collect your luggage, as from memory I think collection in this scenario is from left luggage in terminal 1.

  6. I advised our pcc that the pay restaurants are not available to book for 2 days on our canadian/usa cruise. They advised that they could only offer us what the web site showed so we cannot make a booking for our wedding anniversary. We are from the uk, so who do we call if our pcc cannot help.?

  7. Hi Beamafar

    I have completed web check in (or I thought I had) the web site says I have and can request my tickets.

    I have clicked the button but now what? I was expecting the site to allow me to print off my tickets straight away or send them via email, but as yet nothing.

    Also under my booking when I got to e tickets one of the sections states that I have not provided all mandatory passenger info. The self ticketing button is not illuminated, am I doing something wrong.:confused:
