I don't think I've ever seen either of those on board, but IMHO it tastes better if you just drop a lime wedge in a glass of San Pellegrino.
Ok thanks

Does Celebrity have flavored seltzer waters like Buble or LaCroix?

No fee except for a few upscale items that are clearly marked.
Thank you!

I had 3 Beyond cruises in 2023 and Eden cafe was only open on sea days.
Is the lunch in Eden included or is there a fee?

Le Grand Bistro has daily lunch specials on a chalk board so you see the choices by the day. We found the food to be good, my wife's was a hit or miss with her.
Thankyou! We will check it out.

During the evening Le Grand Bistro becomes Le Petite Chef. For us LPC was a once and done, but we enjoy Le Grand Bistro for lunch.
We've done LPC on Silhouette and I agree once was enough for us. but we were with group on that trip and several of them went back and did it again. What sort of food is in Le Gran Bistro? Sounds like it might be worth trying.

First time on Beyoncé coming up soon. What is Le Grand Bistro? I don’t see it mentioned on Celebrity’s website.

The friend who cancels would only get money back if the cancellation is made before departure date and the reason for canceling is listed in the insurance policy or the policy is cancelled for any reason.
The remaining passenger than would paid the full fare for double occupancy.
So not only would the one who cancelled not receive any money back but the other one who didn't cancel would have to pay for another fare? Am I understanding this right? That would mean Celebrity collected twice on one of the fares.
-
What if it is two friends sailing together each paying separately and one cancels at the last minute? Would the friend who canceled get money back from insurance claim? And the friend who sails would not be charged anything else?

Are men allowed to wear flip flops in the main dining room at dinner?

I did that one back in 2013 - it's a wonderful excursion!
I'm getting ready to book that one. Thanks Baseball Mom!

Used them in September and they were fantastic. Used the transport to the port from Rome, used them in Messina and also on the Amalfi Coast - Alex on the Amalfi Coast was fantastic!!
Did you doPompeii with the Amalfi coast? I’m looking at the Pompeii, Sorrento, and Positano excursion.

That is a very short hop from one port to the next, but lucky you. SM is a really nice little resort town to while away some time with the added bonus of Portofino right next door. Enjoy both. For suggestions of what to do and see, try Tripadvisor and other online sources.
Thank you!

We are going to go to Lucca on our second day in LaSpezia. It’s a little over an hour by train. It’s a beautiful little town, and it will be a new place for us.
Thanks Softball! Lucca sounds like a good possibility.

Can suggest the short train ride to Santa Margherita (Ligure)which is a charming seaside resort. And from there it is a very short bus or taxi ride to pretty Portofino, although try to take the ferry one or both ways (15/20 minutes) as it is an especially scenic ride.
There are many previous threads and posts about both SM and Portofino. Use the SEARCH tool to find them as you might find them an interesting read.and info and images of both should be easily found online.
Thanks but….I guess I should have said that the ship also stops one day in Santa Margarita so we already have SM and Portofino on our schedule.

We will have 2 port days in La Spezia October 2024. The first day we will go to Cinque Terre using the trains. We need suggestions for the second port day. Originally we thought about doing Florence but it seems that we’d spend most of the day on the bus. So where else would give us an authentic Italian experience? I’d love to hear from others who have done different things.
Thanks, Sharon

The last time we ported in LS we took a public bus to Porto Venere which is beautiful in itself. We ate lunch there and took the ferry to the Cinque Terre, then the train back to LS. Seeing the Cinque Terre villages from the ferry was amazing. The villages were very crowded and actually a turn off.
This trip we will again head to Porto Venere for lunch and spend time walking around LS……r/t by the #100 busThank you for the suggestion. I’ll check that out.

La Spezia is not a good port from which to visit Florence, regardless of how hard cruise lines try to market it that way, unless you are overnighting at La Spezia and don't need to race back.
Livorno isn't great, but it's far better as a starting point for Florence.
By car from La Spezia it's two hours each way, more with traffic, and you'd be driving in with morning traffic (but thankfully returning before the end of day commute).
This may have changed, but it used to be that the port at La Spezia did not allow taxis or car service cars into the port, you were forced to use the port shuttle bus to the cruise terminal and be picked up there, taking away 15 - 30 minutes on the beginning and the end of your day.
do have any recommendations for other things to do? We are doing Cinque Terra already so we need something else.

I was not able to book the Jazz for this November till 10 months out, and I emailed the hotel directly. The even gave me a special code to go online for a discount.
Thanks! That is very helpful information.

I think it is probably showing you this because the hotels have not yet released availability this far out. We have also stayed at the Jazz numerous times. Very convenient hotel with big rooms.
Thanks Mary!

Is it too soon to book a hotel for my October 3, 2024 cruise. Every hotel I’ve looked at says there is no availability. I’m wondering if there is truly no availability or is it that it is too soon to book. I stayed in Hotel Colon about 12 years ago and Hotel Jazz 5 years ago. Both say no availability online.
