  1. I have been watching since I booked the cruise and first there was nothing. Then they added a LOT for the overnight in the Azores, and finally added the two for Cork. I looked at their shore excursion brochure and they had 8-10 for both Waterford and Cork. Do you think closer to time they will add something? I would much prefer booking with Celebrity so I can't get left behind:)

  2. So I'm booked on the Reflection Transatlantic next April, Fort Lauderdale to Ireland.  There are NO shore excursions for Waterford and only 2 for Cork (and neither one goes to Blarney Woolen Mills)   This has been what has been available for six months. Do you think they will add any closer to time or should I look into booking private tours?  I called the Captains club and they were as puzzled as I was about no shore excursions.

  3. I can't get to it right now, but if you pull up a list of my posts I recently posted an Excel spreadsheet of drinks for the Vista. It's probably representative of what's available across the fleet. I haven't seen it, but I'm with you, I hope they have Tito's!

I've searched everywhere for your spreadsheet. I must be doing something wrong:(

  4. On the first day I usually ask the room steward if I can have one those waffle foam rubber things on top of my mattress because I have such a tricky back. I also ask if they would put my suitcases under the bed (I'm an old lady and just can't get down there) I then give them $20 because I know I'm asking them to remake my bed after they just made it. I also tip at the end if I have gotten excellent service (and I usually do) On one cruise I never opened my own door, he saw me coming and ran ahead and opened it for me:)

  5. I'm not only a former teacher, I'm now on the School Board. I have taken my daughter out of school to travel all through Europe and South America and on many cruises. Ask if your district has an Independent study option. Our district does. What it means is they give him work he can do on the ship. (one time my daughter wrote a journal about our travels and calculated the number of miles we traveled each day, used a map to show where we traveled) when they come back they turn it in, they get credit and the school can claim ADA (average daily attendance) for them. A win/win for everyone:)

  6. I traveled with my daughter all over Europe and I always took her passport, birth certificate and my divorce decree where it stated that I had "Sole physical custody" of this child. It also said my ex didn't get visitation (He was considered a flight risk because he was Jamaican and had family there) In all that time (10 years) no one ever asked. Then I tried to go to Canada. They read my ENTIRE divorce decree (part about custody was on page one) I finally said, I don't think the part about which car we each got was really important. Guy started laughing and let us in the country:)

  7. The full price for two drink packages was 1074 each and we paid 805 each so total for two was 2148 and saving price total was 1610. It's a fourteen day cruise with LOTS of sea days Since it also includes coffee, water, as well as all the premium drinks, we figure it's worth it. I'd rather not have to worry about paying for drinks at the end. And my sister is a coffee snob and drinks it constantly, so I'll definitely save on that. :)

  8. So today I was on Celebrity website checking to see if they had the picture package up for our fall 2018 NE/Canada cruise. It was and it said it was on sale. A banner at the top of the page said they were having a sale and it was counting down the hours. Up to 20% off. So I went to my TA for 2019 on Reflection and tried to add two premium drink packages to my cart. It won't go through, but give me number to call. I do and ask if I can get the sale. She puts it through and it works. I save $500 on the two packages. I am one happy camper:)
