  1. We are having the Let Us Serve You luncheon for about 50-60. We have to choose between wine and champagne. I personally don't feel that our guests would drink too much of either. I would be very interested in paying an upcharge to offer our guests a specialty drink as an option instead. Does anyone know if Carnival would do that? If not, I would want to upgrade whichever drink we choose to more than the house brand.

  2. Hello! We are booked on the Carnival Dream for February 14. We booked the luncheon. We were tossed between that and Time to Celebrate Big. My fiance thought it would be better to do this based on our guests and their ages. I'm excited, but also this is my second marriage.

I'm not sure yet how I feel about The Wedding Experience. I feel that they have already tried to talk me out of some things I want to do, such as centerpieces. I know what I want specifically. I'm waiting on a price quote now. I don't want to bring a bunch on the ship. Just simple elegance.

  3. We are going back and forth between this and Celebrate Big. We are doing just family with no more than 50 total guests. Our guests will be older so I know there won't be a lot of dancing. Those cruising with us will have the rest of the week to do it up I suppose. I only wish we could have light mood music.

I do want floral centerpieces on all of the tables.

  4. Hello! The Hilton Riverside is about a mile from the port. I wouldn't go the shuttle route for that, but there are plenty of cab companies that have van service. I have the link to a company below, but also the parking staff who que the cab drivers can help you arrange something for that day as well. I have stayed at the Hilton Riverside several times.

nawlinscab.com they can negotiate the cost for you if you have a group of people that you are transporting.

  5. Hello! We are looking to book our wedding on the Carnival Dream. I have seen the price lists that you ladies have graciously posted.

Does anyone have a list of flower upgrades? Does Carnival do any upgrades on aisle runners, offer centerpieces or any type of chair covers? I don't want to lug anything extra onboard except my bouquet and attire. I'm sure by the time our date gets here I will be bringing more, but that's my dream plan as of right now.

    Thank you in advance.

  6. I have gotten there at different times for different cruises. Last year I got to the port at 11 and it took less than an hour to park and get onboard. The longest it has taken me is when I got there at about 1 and it took a little over an hour. But compared to some other ports I have been to, New Orleans is the fastest.
