We are booked on the 12/21/24 Christmas cruise. This is a family trip with 11 people total. We have 5 cabins and specifically booked this for the 5 grandchildren ages 6-10 to enjoy Park 19. We hear Princess has officially said the RollGlider,Coastal Climb and Ropes Course will not open. Is there anything left in Park 19 that is open? And should we look for another cruise?

Yes I know. But this is the first 5 cabins in a row 11 people 5 kids 10 and under cruise. Lots of moving parts and want the kids to love it. Park 19 should be up and operational or should be up and honest. One or the other…and if it’s only 95% we’ll still have a ball.

After a meeting with the kids make a decision. Realistically probably stay with the Sun as it will be impossible to get all the cabins together on another cruise. But its not right!

We are booked on Sun Christmas cruise 12/21-12/28/24. Booked 5 cabins, 6 adults and 5 children ages 6-10. Originally wanted the Icon of the Sea, but couldn't get cabins next to each other. My agent suggested the Sun as brand new and Park 19 was what sealed the deal. My wife and I have been on 60+ cruise, Princess included but several years ago. Our lasting impression was good for older rather than younger and not for young kids. So if Park 19 is not fully open Princess should make it known and options should be offered. Like cancelling with no penalty, major discounts, real upgrades, specialty restaurants etc. I'm spending ALOT of money on 11 of us and deserve honesty!

Problem is there are no cabins left on Beyond other than Suites...we just are booking now...thanks for your replies.

Here’s our choice - we are holding a sky suite on 9 night Equinox for $8800 and a sky suite on 11 night Beyond for $16200. Both are southern Caribbean and within 3 weeks of each other late Jan and mid Feb 2024. Been on 25+ Celebrity cruises but never on the new Edge class. First cruise since Covid. Really interested in the new class. What to do??
