We just concluded a cruise on the Coral Princess.  Brought tux and gowns.  Very disappointed that there is no dress code enforcement whatsoever, and you may be dining next to a guy in jeans, a cheap blazer, and tee shirt.  

Was wondering if the onboard shopping on QE includes either Chanel or Lancôme cosmetics (not perfume). Susan is hoping to make some cosmetic purchases!

Fingers crossed for an upgrade! Cunard originally messed up Susan's status (she is a plat on Cunard), but very happy to have a balcony as we booked a great interline fare (I am United Airlines retiree). Cheers!

Sigh. Such great memories of enjoying a nightcap in the Yacht Club on QE2. 😀

Cabin 6041. Will be sure to report. First time on the QE, but long time Cunarders (plat and gold) with many crossings on QE2 and great cruises on QM2 and Caronia. 😀

We love the late seating. Less hurried while dining, and great times scoping out the parade of early diners passing by while enjoying cocktails!

Anyone else booked on the QE departing San Fran next week headed to Sydney? We are very excited to be on this cruise! First time on the QE, but longtime Cunarders with many trips on QE2, Caronia, and QM2.

We are just off the Journey on Sunday, and while we loved the Sunset Bar area, we don't think the "open while under construction" worked very well. Having guests sit ten feet from workers in dust masks doing tile work not a good idea. Waiters seemed stressed as they had to run to another bar to fill drink orders. Once the work was done this became our favorite place for a before dinner or after dinner cocktail. Hours of other bars seemed a little wacky with not much open at 5:00pm.

Working on a full review of our cruise.

Our understanding is that if you do not purchase the liquor package, but order a cocktail with the higher quality spirits, you will incur a charge.

Any idea how much the charge would be, on say an Absolut martini, versus the standard Smirnoff? Trying to assess if the liquor package would be a good value for us.

We are considering ACC for the first time. As veterans of Cunard (QE2, Coronia, QM2), HAL, and Regent (our favorite small ship so far), how does ACC stack up?
