We will be in St. John on the NCL Escape on 6/28 -- which is our 10 year anniversary. Would love to do a smaller snorkel/sail trip or something unique and special to celebrate our day. any suggestions on tour company? Could we potentially book a trip on the dock when we arrive? We enjoy good food and drinks -- local beer or liquor spots are always welcome suggestions!

First time in Tortola in three weeks and we have a funky port time -- 6am-2pm. Ideally we'd like to use this port as our "shopping" day, explore the town, hit Sunny Caribee's, and hopefully hit a distillery of some kind. Does any one have any suggestions of must see/dos in town? Or any suggestions of local places that are close by?

We went ahead and put in bids on three different rooms -- fully aware that we likely won't win a bid but worth a shot anyway. Even if we don't get it we are pretty excited about the room we have, so either way we are looking forward to this trip. We both work in public schools so we don't get to cruise outside of the summer and sometimes during Christmas or spring break. Thank you for all the help ! Will update if we hear anything!

I just did the math -- if we got the low bid option at 600pp, we'd be saving $3,500 off the list price that NCL is currently advertising.

This cruise is definitely a special one for us so the temptation to try and bid is there! We are doing a 7 day out of Miami to DR, Tortola, St. John and the private island.

Would you recommend any of the options in particular? It seems like the Courtyard Penthouse for 600 pp might be the move?

The low bid option on the The Haven Courtyard Penthouse with Balcony (HF) is 600 pp, The Haven Forward-Facing Penthouse with Balcony (HG) is 550 pp, The Haven Spa Suite with Balcony (H9) is 650 pp, The Haven Penthouse Suite with Balcony (HI) is 550 pp.

Hi all, Husband and I are going on our 10-year anniversary cruise June 25-July 2 on the Escape -- we currently splurged on an aft-facing balcony, but got an e-mail about upgrading to Haven and we are thinking about making a bid. So, is it worth it? We aren't bringing our kids on this trip. We have cruised many times with NCL but have never felt like we could afford the Haven.
