Princess - it's time to turn on the Sun Princess Bridge Cam !

Hmmm. I still can't book the MDR for my 8Jun cruise; so perhaps they've only opened up MDR reservations through until 31May at this stage.

Sun Princess is now alongside the pier in Civitavecchia !

As I post this, the sun is literally rising on the Sun Princess right now in the Adriatic Sea, so in the coming hours curious locals may start snapping some pics of her has she glides into Montenegro.

I wonder when Princess will start the streaming the Bridge Cam...

Interesting to see many cabin lights turned on... I wonder if cabins are still occupied by workers, or whether they've just left the lights on. (I could understand if they had turned ALL the cabin lights on for that departure, however it only appeared to be perhaps one third of cabins).

Looking at those stairs, I still don't understand why anyone would want to use those open-air staircases to travel between multiple floors (particularly when the majority of those floors are stateroom floors). Why would passengers use those stairs when passenger lifts & traditional internal staircases would seem preferable to use. Using traditional open-air stairs up on the Lido deck to travel up/down just one floor is one thing, but multiple floors?? Perhaps this might be the architect's way of maximising the fire escape capacity (ie. speed to evacuate the ship)...? I'm sure we'll all be checking out those stairs to find the hidden benefit.

I believe that section of the Italian article simply translates as the ship's inaugural cruise has been delayed.... due to the postponement of the delivery of the mega passenger ship.

On the guy's YouTube channel, that video is time-stamped as having been loaded to YouTube 9hrs ago, however I don't see a reference as to when it was filmed.

I see in the app under "Dining Preferences", a section labelled "Dining Pace", with the options of Slow, Relaxed, Fast. A further clue maybe. ....though whether that selection translates into directing passengers towards certain levels in the MDR remains to be seen.

Dining reservations in the app have also appeared for our 08Jun24 sailing; letting me select date & time, however it doesn't seem they're accepting bookings yet. We are primarily Main Dining Room diners. "...The three dining levels will serve guests multicourse meals from friendly wait staff and each have their own personalities, offer different dining experiences and range in levels of formality," I've still not seen more info on the above quote, to know which level will suit us best. Any information yet on how to how to decide between MDR L6 or L7 please?

Same here. I'm Elite, and on the 08Jun2024 sailing, and I still can't access dining bookings. Having said that, I like to time my dining bookings around one of the two Evening Shows. Did I read correctly that this ship will be having THREE performances of the headline show each night? / Anyone know when the Sun's evening show timings will be announced please?

I’m interested to know if anyone has been able to make Dining Reservations for their Sun Princess booking yet? For my 08Jun24 sailing, the app keeps telling me “To access Dine My Way, your voyage must be paid in full or you must be a Platinum or Elite Captain’s Circle member, or have a Full Suite or Club Class Mini Suite” I’m Elite, so I don’t know whether it’s just me with a problem, or everyone, or whether it’s simply too early to make dining reservations given the ship hasn’t launched yet..? I got a generic email from Princess a few days ago, for this booking, saying that Dining Reservations are available. Any thoughts please?
