Not required to be printed.     Safest is to take a screen shot.

If you really want a copy most front desks will print for you or have a business center people use to print boarding passes all the time.

Thanks for letting me know that. One less thing to worry about figuring out.

If I may add, I didn’t load on my tablet when I made the appointment but did yesterday (I test tomorrow). You get a chance to test the Zoom app after you download so that is one less worry day of.

If you have extra test boxes I also suggest you do a practice run. I watched the IHealth video and now I am ready for tomorrow.

I will be using On Point. I will report back after it is completed.

Can’t wait to hear how this goes for you.

No showing the report on your phone/ipad is fine.   Just make sure you don't need network connection to be able to pull it up.   One suggestion is to pull it up on your screen and take a screenshot and save.

Thanks so much for your advice. We are not technically savvy enough to figure this out but can manage that! Appreciate you, wrk2cruise.

Yes, you can use a phone or tablet.  We used our laptop because we were at home.  If we had taken the test in a hotel I would have used my iPad.

Is there a requirement to have printed results? If we test using our IPad in the hotel, we would not be able to print the results.

For those unsure as to what commercial is being referred to, check these out:

Thanks for posting that! Now I can look at it and dream of future possibilities but we are already booked on NCL October 2021, a re-book after cancellation this past May and we have been worrying that we might lose that money altogether if NCL goes bankrupt and then lo and behold, we see the commercial. Was a little shocked and puzzled to see that. It isn’t going to make us book another cruise right now but brought back a wistful memory 😪of all the old commercials we were so used to seeing. Was a shocker to say the least.

  6. Can’t speak to Uber as we have never used them. Our pre-cruise hotel was close enough that we walked to the port. We dropped off our luggage early, went back to the hotel to park our vehicle in a good safe spot and walked in for check in.  I am sure someone will be able to help you with your question.

I check the confirmation off and on and it was posted there by Carnival, there was no way I was going to let an offer like that go away.  I jumped on it immediately and just like that we had a Grand Suite.  I always check my reservations on all the ships once a week to see if anything appears different.  Once a week I check amenities to see any changes.

The other day when I checked one of our Royal Caribbean reservations I saw the Deluxe Beverage Package went from $72.00 a day down to $57.00, I thought since the cruise is in Jan I would just keep checking.  We now purchased it for $43.00 a day, one of the best prices we ever got.

Just once a week go into your booked cruises and see if anything has changed, even check the pricing, last year saved $700.00 on one of our cruises.

Thanks for that advice.  I have never thought about checking my reservations. I do keep an eye on pricing and have need able to score a couple of price cuts on some of our cruises with the best one so far being $500 off our cruise to the Western Mediterranean on NCL Epic for next year. I will definitely be checking our reservations from now on. Had no idea to do that.

Ecstasy on Oct 24 from Jacksonville

So happy for you 😁  We just booked the Ecstasy for October 1 out of Jacksonville.  Could not believe the low price for a porthole room so we took the chance that this will sail. How do you get an upgrade offer.? We have never gotten one as I recall. Does Carnival email you? And can you get an upgrade offer without having made final payment yet?

  9. We usually stay at the Malaga Inn which has a park and cruise deal, does cost $7 per day to park but that is a lot cheaper than what the port charges and you can literally walk to the terminal. We drive to the terminal early drop off luggage go back to the hotel and park. Then walk in. Of course only works that way if the weather cooperates. We have also stayed at the Microtel in Saraland which, when we did this a couple of years ago, let us park for free and shuttled us in to the terminal no charge.  Lots of fellow cruisers at that hotel.

  10. According to AL.com Carnival won’t be sailing out of Mobile until September. But if your cruise does indeed sail, the port of Mobile is easy to navigate and parking decks do fill up fast but overflow is across the highway. We always go in a day or two early and get a park and cruise package simply because we love Mobile and always use this time pre-cruise to enjoy all the stuff to do in and around Mobile. Price to park at the terminal is pricey in our opinion which is another reason we add on a couple of vacation days, hang out in Mobile and park at  our hotel for free.
