My Personal Vacation Planner is a nice guy. He calls every few months and sees if we are interested in booking. If I have a question, I email him and he emails me back right away.
We decided to book a cruise with 3 different families. I did inquire with him about some questions I had. Since there were multiple credit cards...new cruiser names that needed to be added, I found it to be easier to just do it on the website.
Will he not get credit for the booking? I want to upgrade one on the cabins, but I am embarrassed to call him since I booked online.
What are your thoughts?

Someone else can correct me, but as long as you are upgrading they will always allow that.
So, I do not have to wait until the room is assigned? I asked my "personal carnival vacation planner" before I booked and he said I have to wait until the room was assigned. I think he misunderstood my question though.

I think the whole carnival line is underrated. I was surprised by everything carnival offered on our 1st carnival cruise last summer on the Breeze.
I always thought of carnival as being the "walmart of the seas" as someone once told me. That was totally wrong. It was beyond my expectations for everything. The food, the service, the ships amenities.
Cruising in general may be underrated...but carnival especially.

Hello All.
I booked a guaranteed inside. The cabin has not been assigned yet. I have decided I would like to get a guaranteed balcony for $100pp more.
Is this possible? Do I have to wait until the room has been assigned to request the upgrade?

I hope you are being sarcastic. If not, why would a $10 flip flop be better than a $60 flip flop? It cost $2 to make one and $3 to make the other. Just because you paid more for them makes no difference.

Just did this last week. Didn't tip extra. Same attendant... so he had one more in 1 room but one less in another.

Just back from Mr sanchos. Loved it! It was free to get in. They gave us a table and chairs. And another set of lounge chairs. Food was very basic. Beach and facilities were very clean.

I am a ecig smoker. Have been for 5 years. Longer than most. I do not know if there is 2nd hand smoke involved. I do not know (or does anyone here) for sure that there is NO second hand nicotine inhaling. So I try not to smoke around d my kids.
Just because you read online they are safe does. It make it so.

This is what he said...
