Luminae does not require reservations, but at lunch on the first day, as a courtesy, we will mention to the Maitre 'd we will see them after the first show of the evening. Once in 21+ nights in a Sky Suite did we ever have to wait for a table at dinner.

Our last time in Tortola with Celebrity we took the "Tour to Virgin Gorda Baths" excursion. Our family had already been to the Baths. I fell in love with Devils Bay and spent the time swimming in the warm crytal clear water while others in our tour went to scale the rocks and climb the ropes etc. No loungers on the beach, sit on our towel or a boulder. IF you can handle the strenuous hike to get there, it was 4 hours well spent.

It's quite the conundrum. The likelihood of your cruise occurring in August is slim to none IMO so making final payment means more money is tied up in Celebrity until they cancel and then begin the refund process. Were I in your shoes, I would not give Celebrity any more of my money only to have them hold on to it for a while. If you think you will cruise again sometime in the future, my advice is to take the FCC before making final payment. Like @jelaynesaid, Celebrity isn't budging on the final payment date. They are counting on those final payment dates to keep revenue flowing...even if it's for the short term.
This is exactly what our family intends to do with our 3 cabins booked B2B on the Infinity for Christmas and New Years. We will push the cruises out to late 2021 rather than make final payment on a cruise which may or may not sail.

A few years back, my husband and I sailed the Western Caribbean on the Reflection. I have been cruising around the Caribbean for 30 years, been there done that, yada, yada, yada. Under a lot of stress at home, we genuinely wanted PEACE and quiet. We enjoy one another's company and can easily pass an entire afternoon reading on the balcony and that was pretty much our cruise. Wonderful meals in Blu and lunches at the buffet, shows at night, wake up and repeat. We never left the ship and lived to talk about it. Just what the doctor ordered!

I could not find this on Celebrity's website. I have made several phone calls and have been told with my Celebrity insurance, I will lose 25% up to one month prior to sailing ( two weeks from now) and after that 100% will be lost. Where is this new policy listed?

Full details of the “Cruise with Confidence” policy can be found at the respective brand websites." -
Having sailed in Aqua Class 3 times, and Sky Suites soon to be times 3, 4 & 5, for the life of me, I do not understand why you would dine in Blu instead of Luminae? 🤔

Sorry the honeymoon was ruined by the virus. #Rule 1 of cruising, NEVER book a cruise where you MUST visit a specific port. Unfortunately "stuff" happens.
6. CANCELLATION, DEVIATION OR SUBSTITUTION BY CARRIER:
a) Carrier may for any reason at any time and without prior notice, cancel, advance, postpone
or deviate from any scheduled sailing, port of call, destination, lodging or any activity on or oa
the Vessel, or substitute another vessel or port of call, destination, lodging or activity. Except as
provided in Section 6(e) below, Carrier shall not be liable for any claim whatsoever by Passenger,
e) In the event that a Cruise (or the cruise component of a CruiseTour) is canceled or terminated
early due to mechanical failures:

Where is the handicapped seating located in the theater?

On the Equinox, the first lunch we mention to the maitre 'd that we will be arriving for dinner after the first show.
In three, 7 night cruises, only once was a table not ready.
If we are not attending the show and chose to have dinner earlier we mention it to the maitre 'd that morning at breakfast. -
I have been having this same issue using Chrome as my browser. Microsoft Edge plays much nicer with Celebrity's website.

Can someone please confirm current pricing for suite guests bringing a non suite guest to Luminae?
Is it still $30 per/guest for dinner, $20 for lunch and $10 for breakfast ??
Thanks in advance. -

My husband uses a scooter and we are in a handicap accessible suite. So now we are unable to access one of the places that are available to us? How is that right?
My father was hit by a car and is disabled, uses a scooter as well. Speak to the Retreat Manager.

Thought there would be eggs Benedict topped with crab and such but it seemed pretty basic?
Staff in Luminae is hard pressed to say no to any reasonable request. Our family had the world's best Key Lime pie at the Oceanview Cafe buffet on the day we were in Key West. We loved it so much, as a surprise, my husband requested that our family have it for dessert one night later in our week. He spoke to the Maitre 'd at Luminae and two nights later came our wonderful surprise!!
One day at lunch there are crabcakes on the menu. If you requested a day before, I am sure the Luminae kitchen could scrape together some crabmeat to place a top your poached egg. Luminae and MDR menus aside, the food will be hot and for the most part, ESPECIALLY at breakfast, cooked to order. You can order your omelet with whatever fixings you choose. -
In June on the Equinox, one of the gentlemen from the Future Cruise team came in and gave a presentation in the Retreat one morning. From there you can have one of the Retreat concierges make an appointment to sit down with them one on one at your convenience.

Well, if there's no elevator access, I won't be going up there.
Speak to the Retreat Manager as we did. My father is disabled and was unable to spend time on the Retreat deck with us.

My wife has mobility issues and cannot climb stairs. Is there elevator access to the Retreat sundeck?
Thanks
No there is no elevator. I had a torn meniscus and climbed the stairs to get there daily. 😨
First come, first served. If there was shade available, it was delightful and serene. There were always plenty of staff on hand to serve your favorite beverages. As others mentioned, snacks and lunch available specific hours as well. If there was no shade available I left. 🤷♀️
Our shaded balcony on deck 12 did not get used nearly as much this year over last year because we could not stand the uncomfortable straight back chairs. Were they placed there to "encourage" guests to head to the Retreat deck at the opposite end of the ship? 🤔
We were aboard for two weeks in June and in all fairness, there were people sunbathing. Sunbathing in the Caribbean will be much more tolerable in February than June, July or August. I have never and would never use a public hot tub, swimming pool out of desperation, but lacking both of these in the Retreat, there should be at least a shower to cool off.
Full disclosure, none of the above detracted from our cruise vacation and we returned home and booked the Equinox again for June 2020. Just keeping it real. 🤨- 1

For our cruise on the Equinox in June all menus, for all restaurants, were on the Celebrity App.
Look at a future sailing with your itinerary. -
Considering it IS a family member, and you are willing to pay for it, how could Celebrity say no?
"Can Suite Class guests bring traveling companions in a non-suite stateroom to the Suite Class exclusive restaurant so then can dine together? Yes, based on availability, Suite Class guests can invite non-suite guests to dine with them in Luminae with reservation and for a fee. The fee per non-suite guest will be $10 for breakfast, $20 for lunch, $30 for dinner. These fees are waived for invited non-suite guests 12 years of age and under. Suite Class guests can also request to dine together with their non-suite guests in the Main restaurant at no additional charge by visiting with the Maitre d’ on embarkation day."

On the Reflection do they permit guests dining in Luminae to order from the main dining room menu?
