We're on the same cruise, and I have the same questions, A few years ago, we parked at EWR and used Cunard shuttle to Brooklyn, but that was only for a one-way cruise. Just started looking at limo price from home. One of the things I'm wondering about is any potential impacts from Maria, and if we'd be better off not leaving our car there. Also, the Princess site estimates 1.5-2 hour taxi ride from EWR, seems pretty long.

Marriott Beachplace Towers has 2 br/2bath suites. It's a timeshare but can be booked like traditional hotel room on Marriott website. Right on the beach, lots within walking distance.

I got locked out also, and then, after getting back in, had a duplicate excursion in the shopping cart. Good luck finding a way to "empty" your shopping cart.

One problem I had in trying to pay with obc, after choosing to pay with OBC, I needed to populate the amount to be charged. I assumed the selection of "pay with OBC" would automatically populate that value. After I typed in the value, the purchase went through.

I've had it returned to card, and also got cash back on last morning.

We're also visiting for a long day in November. We've stayed a number of times at Marriott's, and plan to rent a room for the day and split it between four people. There are two timeshare resorts and one Marriott and one Ritz in Palm Beach. All have very nice pools and beach chairs and palapas (Surf Club has free palapas, Ocean Club charges($10/day?). Not sure about Marriott hotel or Ritz .Even though checkin is not until late in the day, there are locker rooms to change into bathing suits or shower, Will stay on the beach for a long relaxing day, then either back to the ship for dinner or eat somewhere on the island.

We went on a last minute Panama Canal partial transit in November. (Couldn't resist the price!) Got off Infinity and walked across the pier to Zuiderdam. Loved it. Thought crew and service were excellent. Thought the ship was not as elegant as Celebrity, but overall experience made up for it. Great music in BB Kings club, went almost every night. Enjoyed burgers at poolside ("Dive In"), happy hour before dinner, mixology class every afternoon. Would definitely go again.

We went e/b this past May, weather foggy almost the entire time. At one point, the weather report indicated 7 meter waves, hardly noticeable. Still, not a problem, would definitely go again, my wife dislikes flying.

We just got off the Reflection on 4/26. Had both a Verizon Motorola Droid and TMobile Nokia 521 (with post paid Simple Choice plan). Both phones were able to send and receive text messages onboard, expected to have no service. Did not try phone calls from ship.

We have traveled in an AMTRAK roomette from Trenton to Orlando twice, and still not sure how I feel about it. My wife is very hesitant to fly, and she would say AMTRAk every time. Staff very pleasant, accommodations rather small. Food was surprisingly good. Bathrooms remind me of an Army barracks on Sunday night, seems like they are not cleaned during the entire trip. Also, it's not cheap. If I was planning to do it again, I would look in to using AMTRAK reward points to pay. I believe the cost is 15,000 points for two people, and you could buy 15k points for $412. This is less than we paid for either trip. (I haven't confirmed this cost for the roomette, I read it on another forum. The purchase price for points is correct.) There is also an AMTRAK credit card offer with 12k points, not sure if you'd have time at this point.
