I"m excited by the changes that Princess have made to the Majestic and to the Caribbean Princess ships. It will be exciting to see what they have in store for us with the next Royal Class ship.

The princess website seems to indicate that they will be renovating Sabatini's so it will not be replaced by Share.

I'd say that they work pretty hard. They have a ship full of contractors to take care of and probably more cleaning to do than normal.

We had cabin M101 on the Regal last week. I can report that the balcony door was never locked and was always accessible to us. Most days there was a light breeze at most, thus we used our balcony ever day of our 7 day cruise. It was a great cabin with the love seat in a quiet area of the ship. Although the balcony definitely has an obstructed view with part of the bridge below jutting out and the solid metal of the balcony rail, the huge size of the balcony more than makes up for that.

Thais everyone for your replies. We are really looking forward to our cruise. It sounds like I can probably avoid bringing my own pillow which would be a pain, but I might bring a light sweater.

We have a cruise on the Regal coming up in a week and I have a couple of questions. I have a bad neck and require a thin soft pillow. When we were last on the Emerald they had new pillows which were really fluffy and thick and really bad for my neck. Does the Regal have thin pillows or really thick ones? Are down pillows available for balcony cabins?

Also, in the past I have often found Princess ships to be a bit on the cold side temperature wise, how has it been recently on the Regal, should I be bringing a sweater with me because it is quite cold?

I'm now convinced that Princess will redeploy a Royal-class ship or two to the West Coast in the next 2-3 years. :)

Very exciting. I hope that the 4th, 5th and 6th ships in the Royal class continue to evolve and improve. The covered pool in the Majestic Princess is one such evolution along with the central stairs accessible for the passengers on the Royal are good starts for the new builds.

I think it is a great idea and can't wait to try it out. I'm sure there might be some bugs at first, but in the end it will improve the cruising experience.
