  1. Heck, it isn't a fun job at home doing for your own family, how much worse is it for strangers?

And yes, it is their job, but they are still human and deserving of respect and understanding that, like the rest of us, they may miss something, make a mistake or be having an off day.

Seriously, anyone deliberately putting make up on the underside of a trash can to catch out their steward is taking things way too far.

  2. Yes, you can get right back off, and many people do. You will need passports though. Use the people mover to get back to Piazzale Roma and then go right across the square and get water bus tickets. If you just want an overview you can do a circular route by way of Tronchetto and back up the Grand Canal to PR then back on the people mover to the ship. If you want to get off at San Marco get the fast water bus that only has a few stops.

Or you can just walk around the area near the station (the Jewish Ghetto is close to there) and drink in the ambience of the city.

  3. Bottled still and sparkling water is included in the Replenish and Ultimate packages. Bottled still water is also included in the Premium package.

So, the poster said he would drink a coke ( from his daughters soda package) and she would have bottled water (from his Replenish package) therefore, both drinks have been paid for and they are just being redistributed. I doubt that anyone would see that as theft.

  4. If you are travelling from close to home with no weight restrictions do you take stuff like cushions and throws for your balcony?

I thought I may take a couple of cushions and lightweight fleece throws for comfort and if the breeze is cool in the evenings? Maybe a cloth ( that would be pegged down) for the balcony table too?
