  1. We are also in a Celebrity Suite on the Eclipse this month. A couple questions if you do not mind answering. 1. In Luminae, can you order MDR Premium Selections and is there a charge? 2. Did Roland provide bottled water in your Stateroom? 3. I noticed little wine lists on the App now, did you look at bottle selections available, specifically in Tuscan Grille? 4. Did you try Murano, and if so, what did you think? Thank you so much.
  2. Absolutely disgusting. They turn these rooms so fast they essentially remake the bed and place some items out. During the cruise they do other maintenance as can. It’s to the point I bring Lysol wipes and wipe everything down myself now. At least then I know is disinfected no matter the stains. If you clean that ceiling you might get a comped MDR Premium Selection. 😂
  3. The Eclipse, but was this fish dish even offered? Sorry you had a suboptimal experience.
  4. Awesome, they were glass bottles on my last cruise, but this is what I was hoping to hear. After a night at the craps table I usually drink one before bed. Thank you for responding.
  5. Thank you for the review. We have a CS on Eclipse in October. Did Roland provide water in your suite or did you have to visit the lounge to get? I really prefer the large Evian bottles late at night before bedtime. Trying to figure out what to expect. Thank you.
  6. Thanks Terry. Was looking forward to your review and how to navigate our future cruises. Hope you had a great trip. BN
  7. My read is the E-Class probably has the best staff and S-Class does not have a large Retreat and is not really designed for. Regardless, the value play for us right now is Concierge Class with a lot of specialty dining. I do not think Luminae is all that. And Laura spoke half-truths in the webinar.
  8. I don’t have a timestamp, but my recollection was it was the Head Butler saying he wouldn’t be seen because he had 17 suites. Maybe I misheard, but will go back and check. We’re on the same team here.
  9. I want what X charged me for on my upcoming SS booking on the Beyond.
  10. Zach’s video and pre-cruise due diligence in asking shoreside for reassurances has changed my view of the webinar. Laura needs to address this review directly to customers.
  11. Just quoting what the reviewer in the video said in his review.
  12. I just watched the Sky Suite video review. One Head Butler, in an office, handling 17 suites using the room attendant with a new title. Glad I only have one SS booking left (3 CS and 2 CC) and this is a black eye for Laura’s claims regarding the change given in her webinar.
  13. I have been very critical of recent changes/cutbacks. After watching the webinar my view is 1) they made changes to save money and didn’t realize the degree of push back and 2) realized they needed a restart for her as well as direct customer communication going forward. Like now Delta Airlines announcing a coming walking back of some recent loyalty changes, companies are finding the breaking point for their customers. I will know more after our October Eclipse sailing. This was an honest first effort.
  14. Our friends did a successful MoveUp on our upcoming cruise and we were going over their amenities and noticed it says two bottles of water a day. Is this the true while all other suites do not? Many thanks.
  15. While we will be in a Celebrity Suite on our October cruise on the Eclipse, here is our current experience: Lobster night at DCL’s Royal Court. Started with the Jarvis Lake William 2018 ($25 corkage). For starters we had the Aged Prosciutto and Beefsteak Tomato Salad. For entrees we each ordered the lobster. We each were asked if we wanted a second, and declined. We were told if we wanted a second, even to share, just let them know. Picture is before the head server de-shelled table side. For dessert we each ordered the Chocolate Lava Cake. No matter if you have an inside cabin or deluxe verandah cabin, everyone gets the same and there are no up-charge Premium Offerings on the MDR menus. To each their own, you choose your best experience.
  16. Palo Dinner last night was wonderful, so much I forgot to take pictures of everything. 😆 We started with the 2018 Tignanello (98 Points Robert Parker) and was great. For food, after the amuse bushe, we started with calamari, then a caprese and baby arugula salad, next the butternut squash ravioli and a special request pizza of Italian sausage with balsamic drizzle and parmesan cheese and for dessert the chocolate soufflé. Service was great, as usual. It was Pirate Night and returning to our room we had a cool towel friend with chocolate coins. Cheers from the Fantasy!
  17. Our excursion in St. Maarten was a second visit to Yellow Beach on Pinel Island. To get there we taxi to Cul De Sac and take a very short ferry to the island. The taxi was with Dennis, Sr who agreed to have Dennis, Jr return and pick us up at 4pm, the last ferry. Besides the beach, the draw to this place is the fresh lobster lunch and a few painkillers. As you can see in the video the lobsters you select from are very fresh! Outside of the pictures speaking for themselves, there was the friendliest duck we’ve ever seen that would get in the ocean with guests and eat certain seaweed from your hand. We plan to return in January. Cheers from the Fantasy! IMG_4259.mov
  18. We did the parks pre-cruise. My Wife is pearl status now and cruised with your friend in the Wish last a few weeks ago. I am just lowly platinum. 😂 The two days at sea had a little more meaning after WDW, for sure. Also a chance to do our laundry and board with no dirty clothes.
  19. Good morning from almost St. Maarten. Last evening we decided to get a glass of champagne at Ooh La La before dinner (see menu), such class and the live music was very relaxing. After we headed to Animator’s Palate. Roy had our wine glasses waiting and the bottle I bought the night earlier (Louis Jadot Burgundy 2018) had breathed for a few hours to open up. For dinner we ordered the black truffled pasta as starters, the tuna steak and a split of the herb crusted pork chop with extra sauce on the side (it can be dry sometimes) and for dessert we had the walnut chocolate cake. We made it through the Halloween festivities and hit the bed by 10PM. Well rested for Pinel Island and lobster lunch today. Cheers from the Fantasy!
  20. You kinda know or do not know (tried them all). It’s not that good. Woodford Double Oaked is my choice.
  21. Pre-Dinner stop at the Ooh La La bar for a glass of champagne. Cheers!
  22. Just got a call asking which Platinum Level gift we wanted. Wife chose the chocolates, nice touch.
  23. Thank you. I know the DCL CC page doesn’t get much traffic, but I have been posting daily pictures of everything under a live review. We are having a great time and so far so good. I agree with your comments regarding The Retreat. I remain hopeful for our October sailing, but paying $1,250+ a day I do expect in room bottled water as well as other past perks.
