We tried to get seat assignments with the last two legs going from Sydney to Orlando on American Airlines and cannot do it. American says it must be done thru Air2Sea and Air2Sea says they cannot do it since American has not provided them with the seat maps. Qantas (1st leg) says talk with American.
So, be careful, Air2Sea website states they can assign seats but we now find that the rep said it happens quite often that they cannot assign seats. Guess we might be stuck with middle seats for 6 hours. Could have avoided this mess by not using Air2Sea. Lesson learned
