Do they take credit cards?

This is a different dolphin encounter. It is on Blue Lagoon Islad.

Has anyone done this excursion in the Bahamas? We are traveling with our grandchildren, daughter, son in law and the other set of grandparents. The other grandparents do not want to do the dolphin encounter. Can they watch their grandchildren? If they book this beach day, can they travel with us?

Will my husband be out of place formal night if he wears nice shirt and slacks?
-
Do these upcharges mean they no longer offer lobster tails and/or steak on formal night?
-
Thanks for all of the replies. My husband and I are in very good shape for our age and believe we can do the excursions we want. I was just afraid we wouldn’t be allowed. I am happy to read that it is our choice.

I am asking because I read about problems some people had getting on excursions due to being “old” on Celebrity. We are planning a cruise to the Galapagos and I am not going if I can’t pick the experience I want. I called Celebrity and they said there are no age restrictions on any of their excursions which contradicts what I read here.

Our card carries travel insurance limit of $10,000 per person. We also buy medical separately, but it is much less expensive than travel insurance.

Check into your credit card. Some of them are now offering significant travel insurance if you use them to pay for the trip.

I finally figured it out. Thanks everyone!

I am not seeing it - probably because my OBC is from travel agent, not Viking
-
We were able to book optional excursions with our on board credit for our river cruise next month.
Thanks for writing. How did you book them using OBC ahead of time? I can't figure it out.
-
Is there any way to use onboard credit to book optional excursions in advance of the cruise?
-
Has anyone done this tour? Is it worthwhile or should we do it on our own? Do you receive tour of interior of Synagogue?

Having just come back from PG, I can tell you that Ato's tour was my favorite of the whole trip!

We took the ship's excursion sunset cruise on Bora Bora. It was a nice ride on their catamaran with rum drinks and chips. If you are just looking for a sunset, in my opinion they are just as gorgeous on the ship each day.

We eventually took the free shuttle to Fare where we walked around a big enjoying a coconut drink and seeing some crafts. We also walked to the right after getting off the shuttle to a lovely public beach. There are pebbles on the entrance to the water so water shoes help, but it was a beautiful way to spend the day.

Hi Dana,
I am loving your review since it let's us relive our wonderful trip. Thanks for setting up the tour with Ato. That is one of my favorite days ever!
Say hi to Jason. Your photos are gorgeous. I don't know how you can pick.

Should we ask the hotel to call a taxi? Will taxis be readily available at that time? Our luggage will be at the Hotel Tiare Tahiti so we will have to return there after dinner.
-
We have booked a room at Tiare Tahiti for the day we disembark Paul Gauguin prior to our 11:30 PM flight. Will we have trouble getting cab to the airport after dinner at the Roulottes? What time do we need to leave for the airport?

What do you think of Relais Mahana for day pass?

We have a day in Huahine on our cruise next week. I was thinking about planning the day without any tours. I think I want to go to Fare to look around and do some shopping. Is that worth a couple of hours? After that we would like to go to the beach. Are there public beaches near Fare? Does the Hotel Maitai Lapita let cruisers use their beach without a reservation? We would have lunch and a couple of drinks there.

The streetcars are great for getting around. Plan on using them for sightseeing. We always take the entire route just for fun.

We will be in port for about 11 hours and are looking for private tour guide to pick us up at port in Piraeus and give us tour of Athens. Any suggestions? There will probably be 6 of us.
