  1. We have run into the Sam problem. We have two little ones. I wanted to see the ruins but my youngest is only 2.

I am not comfortable booking a tour to the ruins that is not thru the the ship. The ruins are usually pretty far away.

I will book no ship tours for other things though.

I am looking into the carnival beach break. It says it's at water caye and I can't find any info on it.

We are also looking into goffs caye.

  2. We booked a private tour guide and did dunns river falls, then went river tubing, and lastly to a beach

The tubing was fun. Nothing too adventurous. Mostly Just floating with a guide. The water was very nice

We got to dunns river falls before the masses and asked for a guide to just take our group up so we didn't have to hold hands with a bunch of others. It cost extra but we were fine with that.

We didn't go to the beach because it poured down rain. So I can't comment in that.

We had a great time and it cost less the. The ships tour of just the falls.

  3. When you get off the boat does this port have a pool like costa maya?

We are in Belize for a long time this trip and our excursion isn't long. The little kids would love a pool they can actually swim around in

  4. We are in the same boat... Have a 4 year old and 2 year old. But I found that cavetubingbz will allow them both to go tubing. I sent an email and they got back to me very quick. They have great reviews so we are going with them.

  5. I just started coming back to this forum recently sice we are going to costa maya.

Many years ago we were looking at a cruise here. Then the hurricane hit the island and the port was closed. We went somewhere else. I haven't seen this beach mentioned since.

  6. You said you were interested in swimming with dolphins?

Do it at Cozumel - Chankanaab. You can google it. Book independantly.

Or else Paradise Beach is very nice.

Roatan - Nice beach right where ship docks. Or else head to West Bay Beach.

Grand Cayman - If you want to swim with the Rays, check out NativeWays.

Look for suggestions in the port of call threads.

    I agree with this poster.

I don't like sting rays o we just go to 7 mile beach at grand cayman.

There is a small ship wreck near the tenders that you can snorkle and see lots of fish. That is free.

For Belize we are going cavetubing they also have ziplining. We are going with vitalino at cavetubing bz.

We go to paradise beac in Cozumel. Just take a cab. For $10 you can get a wristband for he kids to use all the toys. If ou really want o swim with olphins chanknaab will have it. You can catch a cab there also so it's cheaper than carnivals option.

  7. Has anyone ever done this excursion?

It only has one review on carnival site aNd I only found one review on here.

I have 2 kids 2 and 5 so most choices for things to do are out. (We wanted to do ruins but you have to be at least 3 for the tours)

We usually just catch a cab to a beach on most islands or book a tour thru a private company.
