  1. We are family of four (DH, DD - 4 yrs old, DS - 2 yrs old). It's our second time cruising, first time was with Princess. I know there are a lot of differences so here are my questions please help:

    1. How easy can we get milk on the ship? Kids drink milk once in the morning and once before go to bed, DS still drink some during the day when he feels like it.

    2. I read about water and wine so please let me know if we can/should carry some wine and bottle water to the ship?

    3. Our stateroom is 10239. Is it quiet? How's the balcony? Is it covered?

    4. Any tips for cruise on Divina with little kids?

    Thank you!

  2. Thank you Theo.

Will do if I do not change my cabin! DH is thinking about moving to another cabin.

This picture shows E 622 which is about the same view you will have.

You can also check out my site, (see link below) and scroll down to the bottom and follow the links to the Royal/Regal. There are a few more pictures of E622 that will give you some idea what to expect.

Also, I would much appreciate if you could take some pictures while in your cabin and send them to me. My email is on my website.

  3. Thank you Pam,

That's so much better than I thought! I'll keep it then. It was the last cabin in this category and I got it because the price is lower than other balcony cabins.

Just want to let you know that you are the one who answered many of my questions for my last (first) cruise. Thank you!

It shouldn't be too bad. If you look at the deck plans, you're behind the back of a tender so you may have a partial view. Theo's website (Renmar) doesn't have any photos from this location. :(

Remember, you can always ask to be changed to another cabin in the same category if it's available.

  4. Just read a reply in another post mentioned first $3 a luggage when drop off then $5 a luggage. Is that a "standard" rate you would tip a porter? We will have 6 pieces luggage so that'll make 48 bucks tips in total, sounds like a lot to me. First time cruisers so would like to find out.

  5. Just left home and we are driving to Ft Lauderdale. DH found we left all printed boarding pass, etc at home. I do though have everything in PDF format in my cellphone. Will the electric format work or do we have to print them out? I can ask the business center to print out for me tomorrow morning but just want to check if anyone knows about it.

    Thanks!

  6. Thank you all for the reply! DH and I decide to go with the port garage. With two little ones this might be easier than park n go. Btw, anyone knows if there's any cart we can use to transport our luggage to check in point? We have a stroller and four big pieces. Also, do you think the luggage can fit in our stateroom? DH is worrying I packed too much.

  7. I'm looking for parking for our upcoming cruise next week. Hard to decide:

    1. Park N Go: 5 days total: $49. Valet parking, so we'll give our key to them. Question:

    a. how fast can they pick us up before embarking or after disembarking?

    b. how far is it from the cruise port?

    c. we have two little kids, will it be too much hassle?

    2. Port Everglades parking: $15 per day.

    Question:

    a. any extra tax we need to pay or the total will be $75?

    b. how long do we need to walk from the parking spot to the cruise?

    Any comments or suggestions?

  8. I agree to book now. Your price is set, you are sure of getting on the excursion, you can cancel according to the timeframes published in the Patter, and you don't have to pre-pay! It's all good!

We have seen many sold-out excursions once we are onboard and many have been $10 - $20 more. We are sold on booking early!

    Happy Cruising!

    Thank you! Booked and relaxed!
