  1. I maintain that there is no problem with dreaming big, as long as you know what to expect. The posts on these boards should be educational, not judge mental.

Apparently some feel like I've asked for something above my station.... To me it was a question asked, questioned answered. I guess next time I'll just call Carnival......

  2. How many actual cruises have you been on? You said Norwegian. How many and only them? Caviar isn't a normal staple on the average cruise line.

Norweigen and just once. Going on Carnival next month . I only asked because someone mentioned in on a different thread here on CC. It started me thinking..... Plus I've been watching reruns of the The Love Boat. 💕💕 Also we'll be cruising with 2 other couples and I wanted to do something nice for them. We always like to do something we've never done while on vacation....sort of spoil ourselves...we work hard 😌

  3. Yes! Gty insides 9253 category 4G and 7237 category 4E. A bit bummed that we are 2 decks apart, especially considering that there were cabins close to each other in both of those categories. But, at least we aren't on opposite ends of the ship.

We were assigned 31 days out.

Ok, so it will probably be next week for me then. Thanks 😊

  4. Don't be nervous, you'll have a great time. Seabourne is definitely a luxury line, I think they do (or did) have a day where the staff wades out to you in the surf with Champagne and Caviar, but you pay for that too. I'm sure a Seabourne cruise is at least 10x the price.

On every Carnival cruise you can have lobster once, shrimp cocktail every night, there will be a liquor tasting the first night, and lots of chances to have a great time. Enjoy your cruise.

I didn't research Seabourn but when I saw the post, it made me wonder . I mean, I am on vacation right ☺️☺️☺️

  5. Just a little rant...I have three cruises booked:

    1. On Miracle over New Years in a bowling lane style balcony cabin.

    2. On Sunshine in an interior spa cabin in March 2015

    3. On Glory March 2016- in a Scenic Oceanview (the one with the huge windows!!)

While I get that there probably won't be any OBC coming my way for the Scenic Ocean view cabins because there are only 2 on board and my family has them both.. none of the other 5 cabins I am tracking for friends have had any drops either. ...whats up with my other cruises!!? The Interior Spa has remained the same price for the entire year I have had it booked...I WANT SOME OBC!!!!

I hear you, no price drops for me either, actually our cruise for October 23 has gone up. I want some OBC too !

  6. Thanks for your response 😊

Ok, I just checked them and they are quoting $38.95. I need to call tomorrow to see if we can have 6 passengers. The site only allows for 4. We will be traveling with 2 other couples and will be picking them up from the airport.

To follow up global airport parking will NOT take groups of more than 4 people. No matter what, no exceptions ! Per their website lol. I didn't even call

  7. I don't think Carnival has checkin at FLL. I've never seen one and I just did a search and just came up with info about the MIA checkin service. That sounds like a great idea!

Thank you. We're picking up friends from the Miami airport and the Fort Lauderdale airport. We're going to check in at Miami if we can, and I was hoping to have the other couple check in at Fll😔

  8. Does anyone know if there is a Carnival Cruise line check in at the Fort Lauderdale Airport like there is in Miami? Sorry if this has been asked and answered but I couldn't go through 250 pages plus this new board . Thanks in advance 😊

  9. i parked at Premier Parking in JUly. going in was pretty bad. arrive late so that you are not trying to get in as the people returning are trying to get their cars. The shuttle was good going and coming. Waiting at the port when we got off. There has been much talk about how bad this place is. I talked with people who arrived at the lot after 1pm and they said they had no problem. All trutners had left. it tok about fifteen to twenty minutes to get to the port.

    Thanks for the info😊

They are quoting at $41.70, still better than $100. The biggest issue is going to be the ease of getting there from South Beach and their ability to accommodate 6 people with luggage. I'll know more tomorrow😊

  10. We have used safecruiseparking.com several times and never had any issues. You will have people telling you that these places are not secure and not to use them. Last time we used them we cruised with friends of ours....they parked at the Port and we used safecruiseparking.com. Our car was fine....their car got broken into at the Port! You take a chance no matter where you park.....

    Thanks for your response😊....

The reviews aren't looking too good, but I'm going to call tomorrow. They are between $31.95-$39.95.

  11. We are going to try globalairportparking.com. I read about it on here somewhere we leave on sept 13. I looked it up and you just choose your port. Make sure you choose port of Miami and not Miami airport. Seems secure and very reasonably priced.
