We have cruised w kids for the last 15 yrs and have always involved the kids in planning of shore excursions. We have never allowed them to go off w teen excursions. Its a family vacation, we all stay together on islands. But now that my youngest is 18 and works, she understands the value of a dollar, has cruised so many times shes familiar w islands and is just as thrilled to be cruising as we are...........I give her an island and a budget total based on how many is cruising w us. I usually cap it off at $100 pp to include tip. She is a typical internet savy teen so she is on it researching and comparing prices. She has really learned to pick carefully and usually includes lunch too. I feel she learns a lot from the lesson and its always a surprise until the unveiling the morning of. She even tells us what to wear and what we will need. Some examples she has picked for us: standup paddleboarding and snorkeling in Grand Turks, swimming w dolphins in Costa Maya, catamaran sail and snorkel in Barbados, horseback riding to the top of waterfalls in Dominican Republic and Jeep/snorkel/lunch and beer included excursion in Cozumel. We loved every single thing she has ever planned for us! You should try it! She loves being in charge too!

Some times we pick at hotel continental breakfast with a cup of coffee or if driving to port morning of we just have coffee at home. But usually we just wait until we board and just have our pick of anything and everything.

Ughhh 255 days until we board the Valor!
-
The Sensation has one more port and I like these ports better. Besides I like cheaper!

Probably should ask this question on the port of Roatan board. You'd get a better response. This thread is for roll-calls.
-
Yes, you can. Just put one of you in room and the other minor w other adult. Once aboard go to pursers desk and switch the room cards to show boys in one and you two in other. We have done this before.

I paid $125 in 2012. You book it as a shore excursion on Carnivals website.

Hey thank you, it's much cheaper than I thought it be. We have a group of 20 cruising next July so depending on who is joining us poolside that day, we might need a few. Better jump on them now.

Can anyone answer my question?
-
Sounds good, can't wait to here how you liked it.

I loved the fact that you caught Matt without his shirt on! Wow thanks!! I enjoyed that more than the sunset. Lmao Also will he remain on the Breeze??

QUOTE=cruizinrican;47708271]I love this review so far but I'm only to the first night dinner at the brick house.
Thanks for reading and for your kind words. Our son Kevin passed away in a car accident in May 2014. He was 19 years old.
Not all of the Thrill Theater offerings are kid orientated.
Oh my, I couldn't imagine. My youngest of 3, Madisson is 18 so close in age. Again, I'm very sorry to hear about Kevin. Thank you for responding about theater. Your review is awesome and I read it every night before I go to bed, always waiting on the next addition!
-
So how are points calculated or acquired?
-
So the Thrill Theater only shows kids movies all week?!
-
Not sure what happened to your son and might have missed that post but I'm very sorry to hear that's he's passed. I send my deepest condolences. May God bless you all.

The my opinion that bigger is always better, unless it's your wife or cellmate.

Thank you for taking the time to post and review your cruise of the Valor. I have a group of family going on the Valor 7/29/16 and we are so excited we are gobbling everything and anything Valor related. We are also booked in a balcony.
-
In just about everything that matters, bigger is usually BETTER!! ;)
-
We have several people in our group, me included that have booked balconies on the July 29, 2016 sailing. I was wondering if anyone could give some advise as to which side of the ship our balconies should be on, starboard or port?
Our ports of call are Grand Turk, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico and St. Kitts if this is info is helpful.
Thank you in advance.

This does not include the govt fees or taxes for this free fare. You will still owe those fees for this person.

I know you get one free cruise fare in the lowest category booked for every 8 cabins sold.
