Arrogant, invisible and no interaction with the guests.

Indeed Jimmy is forthcoming, extremely visible with great interaction with the guests

Prices usually go down when the plane goes down. But let me assure you that flying is safer than a car ride to your travel agent.

Could someone who has access to the suite lounge ask Raj if he will still be there 1/14/17. We are on that sailing and we love Raj
Thank you for sharing your cruise with us. ;)
Raj just looks over the shoulder and his answer is - YES

As it happens right now and here on CC in the Harmony TA thread:
"We have arrived in Madrid! Only problem, I can't figure out where the cruise port is located. "

...........or - the life boat is not damaged and just being withheld by the French authorities as they are still investigating the accident?
-
As seen (or should I say not seen) last week in Palma the life boat was still missing.
From the booking prices I guess that the transatlantic voyage will be close to full capacity and I wonder whether they replace the life boat until this reposition cruise from Barcelona to FLL? What is the capacity of the missing life boat?

As a European Schengen Passport holder, coming back from the USA, I asked a German border police officer to handle all US citizen reciprocal and have them wait up to 2 hours until screened. He answered that "we are not that paranoid like INS and will handle all US citizen within 2 minutes". He also pointed out that in the computer netted age, all information is available for the officials for a speedy process.
US airports are a pest, with wait times up to 2 hours. Last week the only ever exception was Chicago's O'Hare: wait time 5 minutes only. Big kudos to ORD.
For other than US cruise ship pax in FLL or MIA ports: from 30minutes to 3 hours!
Good luck with paranoia

A very generous 90 days new cancellation fee (-policy) for US.
All over in Europe (Australia?) we are required a 10% down payment immediately at time of booking and the down payment is non-refundable when cancelling.

Honestly, this is a stupid response.
A suite guest paid for that seat that you are saying they are "hogging". They paid significantly more than I ever could or would for it. Just consider it their table in the MDR - same thing to me.
Personally, if I paid for it, I better get it. At the least, Royal should hold back tables for the suites and release them only after they determine they will not be used by them.
Nice screenname- you seem to live up to the true definition of alter ego. Besides that- Royal treats suite guests and pins equally because both are vital parts of their business strategy. Suite guests pay like 10000$/suite and may show up a couple of times over their cruise lives. Pins probably have paid a solid six digit $-number to reach the status.
Thats why RCCL serves both groups equally.
If you do not like it- take a break or do some land based vacation until you are sure a cruise has less than 300 or so pins onboard...

I'm on the harmony TA which apparently has a couple of hundred pinnacles on it.
and, quite frankly, it *does* concern me because i'm in a suite and had planned to dine at coastal kitchen every night,.........
Looks like you are a (dining) chair hogger. I guess your flexibility will be seriously tested to visit other great elegant onboard restaurants. I admit though-you need to step out into the real world and mingle with the ordinary people....
-
I have friends who were on this cruise and had NO Indian Visa at check-in in Dubai.
They said there were forms issued by RCCL that had to be signed for those with NO Indian visa, requiring them to stay onboard when sailing into Indian ports- and that was it.
So no Indian visa necessary when you stay onboard the ship?
-
The sold out indication is a bad marketing trick from a not so clever RCCL department because people start realizing the method to lure the customers into immediate booking once available again.
This morning ALL categories were available in Germany for high prices though. I got a news email from a German cruise sales agent also this morning that offered insides Harmony transatlantic cabins for 709€ and outsides for 739€.

Hmm ... I will ask Captain Johan. As far as I know, he will be on Rhapsody transatlantic in November after dry dock.
So, if a captain stays for 8 weeks, C. Johan will be on in October.

Captain Dimas left the Rhapsody after transatlantic in Barcelona. Now we have Captain Johan Malmberg from Sweden. He is a very outgoing, funny guy. Comes by in the concierge lounge every night ! Not every captain does it
-
Rhapsody, Capt Dimas is leaving tomorrow. A Capt Johan from Sweden is on the ship, taking over

Greetings from Splendour ! Eliana left for vacation January 15 and new diamond concierge is Nizar (sorry, forgot his last name, will deliver it later). Gisleni is still in concierge lounge

Formal nights are at day 2 (Khasab) and day 5 (sea day) . All the very best from day 5 live on board the Splendour.
-
Today is sea day and we just got rid of our formal disguise. So yes formal is at Khasab day and the sea day between Muscat and Abu Dhabi. There are 2 restaurants up in Viking Crown, Izumi and Chops.
The Dolphin Cruise is best done in Khasab, either Royals tour or - we took the shuttle into town and negotiated the Dolphin tour for 25$ pp.
Codein, paracetamol or other medication and such is no question , we boarded and flew into DXB 3times within the last 3months. No problems to "import" your personal pharmacy needs. No doctors statements necessary or personal marked packages. Dubai is easy and tourist friendly, so is Oman.
Ah and yes, no sauna on board, only steamroom, free of charge
-
No, nothing is within walking distance of the port in Khasab - you either take the little free shuttle to the town or to the fort. The fort is well worth a visit IMHO.
Not true, leaving the terminal main gate and turning right, there is a beach less than 5 walking minutes away. It is just around the corner behind the last harbor building. All safe.

......Plus you have acted as the bigger person by not just running to guest services, you have brought it to their attention first.
Pete
I am not running to guest services, I call them immediately :p
