Are there still Tube type TV’s in cabins? I never watch tv on a cruise…but it sure does “ date” a cabin!

Is the refurbishment still on for this spring? I notice that for my fall booking many cabins have opened up recently…While it gets rave reviews…i had planned on sailing on a “ new” ship.

We were on deck 7 in a SV on Apex on a 14 day transatlantic this November . Loved it! Yes…once or twice around 10 pm there was some noise from Eden below us. Was no big deal! Would book the exact same stateroom again in a heartbeat! We had 2 deck chairs AND 2 lounge chairs. More than made up for the very ,very minor inconvenience of a little noise on 2 or 3 of 14 nights.

We have a promenade aft cabin ( deck 15) on the MSC Europa for a March sailing. The main reason we chose this cabin was because we didn’t think the weather would be conducive for an outside cabin… Anyone with first hand knowledge? I do understand the cabins face the other side of the promenade cabins…so there is definitely a lack of privacy! We are very much aft…appealing we think to look out the open back of the ship…

I submitted Sunday afternoon and was status matched Monday morning….impressive!

We cruised this Thanksgiving on the Equinox. It was a 10 day Ultimate Caribbean. I’m sure there were kids onboard…but there must have been very few…I never noticed a one!

I’m excited about 7312 because we’re on a transatlantic and I think that the sunset veranda will block most of the wind! if I understand correctly…Eden( directly below us) is not open on sea days…and there are many of them! I hope there are already 2 loungers when we board…but understand the room steward can “ make it happen”!😎😎😎

Excited to have booked cabin SV 7312 on Apex. I often check daily before cruise ( this cruise is almost a year away) to see if I can “ better” cabin. I’m asking myself if I should even bother this time…I think I have the best..no? ( besides suite etc) I understand middle SV have a bit larger balcony…

I have a sunset veranda booked for a Celebrity cruise in November. Currently on the Celebrity website a sunset veranda on my particular cruise is $2900 per person( I paid substantially less when I booked in December) The concierge category is $2650 p/p….and there is an aft facing (sunset) balcony available. If I call Celebrity and wait on hold for an hour…what can I expect?I received $ 700 OBC when I booked…if I switch will I retain? Is it possible to upgrade to Concierge and ask for OBC for the difference in fare? Thank you!
