This made me laugh. I think I will enjoy your take on the cruise.

Thanks for your informative and fun posts.
Re: The Versailles in Miami. We ate there in January before our cruise. We really enjoyed it. I had an entrée of chicken and rice, DH had the Cuban sandwich. We did have a wait but not bad. Were so full we got Key Lime pie to take to the hotel. It was delicious.

Enjoying this preview of our cruise in January. Different ports but same ship.
Thanks for posting.

I do not know what to say in that case. Print out a copy of your order receipt and take it with you just to be safe.
I am doing that too with my Bank of America onboard credit.
-
I booked myself. But, the $25 at booking doesn't show.😕
-
Thank you both.
That was where I was looking, so I wasn't wrong. Nothing shows yet. There was $25 on the account when I booked the cruise and that doesn't show. And I guess it is too soon for the other to post.

I cruise in two weeks on Grandeur. I have cruised before and had this same question.
Where do I find how much onboard credit I have?
I received some when booking and just redeemed Bank of America points and I can't find where in my account it is credited.
Thanks. I need those credits for alcohol. 🍹

We are leaving on Royal Caribbean Grandeur of the Seas in January. Do the same parking responses apply? Five night cruise.

I also like the Grandeur and was booked to sail February 6, 2021 before we did lift and shift. Sadly, I don't think she will ever be back.

Beautiful photos!

Is your $900 deposit non refundable? If you know you definitely do not want to go in february. How about the lift and shift option? Or see about moving your $900 deposit to a cruise later in 2021?
Thank you for your reply. The deposit is non-refundable. This is pretty much what I was thinking. Until there is a vaccine, I am not comfortable cruising. The reason we booked this cruise is that it was one of the last cruises on Grandeur out of Baltimore on an itinerary we wanted. I am going to wait until we have to make final payment then move the deposit to a much later cruise.

There isn’t an option for a refund if the passenger cancels after final Paymrnt.
That is what I thought before I read this thread.

If the 2020 cruise sails I still wont be on it. I plan on exercising my option to either cancel outright with a full refund (because I made final payment) or take the 125% FCC for the 2021 cruise. One of those two options will be done well before the sail date.
Thank you for you responses. I did not realize there was the option of the passenger cancelling a cruise that sailed and getting a refund. I thought it was only if the cruise cancelled.
-
@NthernLgts, if the cruise sails and you don't, what do you expect will happen with your money? Is there a way to get a refund then?
-
So if it does sail and you don't go, do you lose the entire amount?
We have $900 on a cruise in February and I don't want to go now and do not want to invest another $2000 and hope for a cancellation.

I discovered this trip report starting in Alaska exactly one year after we were in Alaska in Radiance in 2019. Quite enjoyable to relive that and now to discover new places.
@twangster, thanks for taking the time to bring us along.

Not sure how I missed this until today and had to binge read. Is that a term you know?

aren't we all. I have had on make up once since 3/14, and that was so I didn't scare my kids when we had a zoom family gathering.

Hope you are enjoying the day and not having any rough seas. Anxious to hear more.
Ukigirl, in the picture of you in the hot tub, I think you resemble Jane Seymour.

Guessing you also bought 200 rolls of toilet paper. My supermarket is sold out.
Nope. I bought no TP or hand sanitizer. We had TP and soap for our needs.

Just think, their Public Health person was on TV giving reasons why closing down the border wasn't necessary on Friday. 🙃
Then they saw how many Americans don't believe there is a problem and are ignoring recommendations. (Flame suit on.) This as I am sitting at home hoping I have enough food for the duration.

free drinks in bars onboard?
in Disney Cruise Line
Posted
A spin off question (this will be our first Disney cruise), can I pour wine into a cup in my cabin then carry it with me to dinner or a lounge? I have a Corkcicle I did this with on my last RCL cruise.
