Can someone tell me directions out of the port (or the best way) to get to the central train station in Naples (NAPOLI GARIBALDI (STAZIONE CENTRALE F.S) to Herculaneum (ERCOLANO SCAVI).

Is this walkable or do we need a taxi or bus?

Is there a time limit on when we have to use the Milestone by? I thought it could be used up to our next milestone?

Hi - we just got back from our 25th Carnival cruise and are hoping to use the milestone benefit on the Vista in Europe next summer.

Here is my questions, my Travel agent told me if we had the fare reduced with our milestone that we would lose our on board credit with them, has anyone else had this happen? I think that I can call the Milestone desk myself before we sail, right and perhaps avoid having them keep more of the on board credit.

Secondly, does it make the most sense (myself, husband and 13 year old also reached 25 sails now too) for my husband and I to use the milestone credit together and to wait with our sons milestone until we have a 2nd cabin since his fare is lower as the 3rd guest in the cabin?

Hello - second time on the Epic and this time we are doing a back to back in the Med. It looks like from the Deck Plan that cabin 9077 has a slightly bigger balcony. Is that correct?

Any help is appreciated....had a really hard time picking from the cabins that were left for our 7-19 and 7-26 sailing.

The stock is expensive right now, which is a bummer, but I will just watch it and try and get 100 shares before we go in July. My TA seems to think it is ok to combine.

I was considering purchasing 100 shares of RCL stock for the on board credit for a 14 day cruise I am taking in July.

I do have on board credit from my Travel Agent, so I am unclear as to whether this would exclude me from getting the share holder credit?

I sent an email to the share holder benefit email and was told to submit my statement. They told me it is all on a case by case basis?! I have asked them to look at my reservation and see if I am excluded before I buy the stock, but they keep telling me to just send in my statement and they will let me know:eek:

Hi first time trying RCI and we are going on the Anthem (14 day from South Hampton) can't wait!

Not sure what balcony to pick I have held a D3 7644, but there are rooms open on 6,7,8 and 9. This floor is sandwiched between cabin levels so noise should not be an issue, but with so many levels I am not sure what is the best level to be on. 7644 is right where the ship bows out a bit towards the back.

Any thoughts?

We never get offered casino cruises and we spend quite a bit on craps and black jack each cruise!!!

Just thought I would share my opinion on the food on the past 3 NCL cruises I have taken....it is awful unless you pay for the upgraded restaurants! The steakhouse was good as usual as was the Teppanyaki. We dined in the more formal for of the dining rooms several times this cruise and the food there was just plain average!

The Epic was better than the Pearl or the Jade but the worst food on the ship is found in the garden cafe it is just plain inedible! I am not a foodie and can usually find something to get by on but it was worse than cafe in college! We met quite a few people on board and they also thought the food was awful!

Not sure if I can sail with them again unless the food improves.

Otherwise the sailing was very nice with great ports and staff! It is just such a huge disappointment to spend that kind of money and be disappointed in your meals.

I am enjoying your review, we get on the ship on 7/26!!!

Feeling overwhelmed at home here with very little plans in the works!!!:confused:

How was the entertainment on the ship? We are also traveling with a 12 year old - he loves comedians but I didn't think they offer any on this sailing?

I can appreciate the damage the ships are doing to the shoreline but do hope I get to do it one more time this summer!

I want to purchase a future cruise certificate on my next NCL cruise (Pearl).

If I buy one on board do I have to book a new cruise right there or can I take it home and apply it later to a new booking?

Secondly, could I book something now and buy the certificate in March and apply it to this already booked cruise?

I received a call that I have been denied the share holder credit because we already had a different offer, but in lieu of the credit they offered me Cagneys for 2 and a bottle of wine.

This was about 3 weeks ago.

I thought it would show up as an obc or offer but I have seen nothing and I have my TA trying to help figure it out to and to see if it is confirmed somewhere.

Obviously I would rather have the shareholder credit but it is better than nothing.

How have others received this and did you receive confirmation or anything?
