Hi there. So excited. We will be taking our first SeaDream cruise in October 2020, with an Italian-focused cruise beginning and ending in Rome. I love doing research about places to stay but I am feeling very overwhelmed about choosing a place to stay in Rome. It will be our first time in Rome and just don't know where to start. We do know that we want to stay in a location that is not so crazy overrun with tourists (I know this will be difficult).  If any of you have recommendations for hotels you stayed in Rome either pre or post cruise, I would love to hear them. Thanks!

What about the Caribbean cruises? Are there formal nights? Or is the dress code more relaxed?

This happened to us on the Legend when it was part of Seabourn. A company's sales meeting took over our Caribbean cruise. It really changed the atmosphere of the cruise. We felt almost like outsiders.

Good. There were some issues. The beach bbq at Fischer Cove beach is a poor subsitute for Prickly Pear. The itinerary is great though

Just got off the Windsurf where one of the female passengers had an interesting interpretation of the dress code for dinner in AmphorA. With a skirt so short and a crop top she seemed to have forgotten where she was. My point is why give men a hard time about t-shirts and shorts when this is allowed.

I see that you can book Ship Excursions on MyWindstar but could not find Spa Services. I wanted to get a jump on booking spa services on our At Sea day on the Wind Surf. Is it worth going to the spa?

The point is moot it seems because our beach bbq will not be on Prickly Pear but at Fischer's Cove, closer to Spanishtown.

As ridethetide said, Prickly Pear island is the site of the bbq. It is a small undeveloped island protected in the North Sound.

In Antigua, I love going to Nelson Dockyards and have a rum punch at the Admiral Inn

On Jost Van Dyke I like to take a taxi over to White Bay and rent some beach loungers and flake out

On St Bart's i like to take a taxi to St Jean Bay and hang out at Le Plage

Is the coffee on the WindSurf Yacht club self-serve or is it made up for you? I love being able to get a coffee first thing in the morning and watch the approach to the port.

We are planning for a trip on the Windsurf this winter. It will be our second trip with Windstar We never tried the Marina platform and I am curious. I am not interested in the motorized stuff or kayaks but I love to swim. What can you do? What is the experience like? Is it crowded? Thanks
