  1. Has anyone does this shore excursion?  It is listed on Carnivals website.

    Thank you!

The Fantastic St. Thomas Race is an amazing race around Charlotte Amalie! It’s a scavenger hunt, a sightseeing tour, and the best way to experience St. Thomas. You and your team will see a side of St. Thomas that most visitors never see while racing against fellow competitors, solving tricky clues, and completing fun tasks. When you cross the finish line, the fun is just beginning. At the finish line, we provide everyone in the group with complimentary beverages and snacks. While players eat and drink, we wrap up the day with a festive awards ceremony that includes prizes for top finishers and all the war stories you can handle. In addition to the complimentary beverages and snacks at the finish line, we will taste some awesome local goodies throughout the race. Sign up today for the experience of a lifetime!

For anyone who has been to Cartagena do you remember seeing the Hard Rock Cafe?  If so how far was it from the port? Is it possible to walk?

    Thank you for your help!

  4. Love reading the great things - my son is 12 and has celiac as well and we have cruised several times on carnival and on other lines. Carnival has always been the best and has always gone out of their way to make my son feel special. He has had lobster and frog legs and other items. (he will try just about anything) On some cruises he has gotten special desserts. We have done the Dr Seuss breakfast and again my son has been able to participate which has always been nice.

To the original poster - totally understand the face painting before my son was dx he would do face painting stuff and breakout in horrible blisters to the point where we said no more face painting at all - and we found ways to cover him up so he wouldn't have to wear sunscreen as the blisters were awful. I understand your pain. I never had a clue how many things gluten was in before all of this.

  5. We have used Grand in both locations for years! If I have ever had an issue I just send it back to them and they fix it and send it back. The service is amazing! I am currently saving for something - I have no idea what but something to get on my next cruise! I really can't say enough good things about them!!!

  6. james'mommy - My son has Celiac disease and we have cruised on another cruise line and next month we will be cruising on Celebrity. I can advise you how it all went when we get back if you want! I know on the other cruise line it was awesome. Everyone was always very careful with his food. I am hoping our experience with Celebrity is just as wonderful!

  7. Sorry for this question - I looked quickly but could not find my answer. I know for formal nights men must have jackets but anyone have any experience with children? Does my 11 year old boy have to have a jacket? I am good with a nice pants and a shirt and tie but I don't really want to spend the $$ for a jacket if I don't have to. :)

    Thanks!
