  1. As you have a combined/linked account - non-issue. Your account (which is combined) will begin with a negative balance. It'll be used up by any purchases made by anyone on your combined account. Once OBC is used up, you'll start accruing a balance due. It's a very simple credit/debit account. You can track your account once aboard via the app, by printouts at the "ATM" style account machines by guest services or from printouts at GS ..
  2. Were you given instructions on where to meet for your land portion post cruise? It's very likely you'll get your various tags there.
  3. All reports are it's still awaiting safety inspections and certifications.
  4. Here you go, a relatively recent thread on Emerald, electrical outlets and various multi-outlet plugins, power strips, etc. https://boards.cruisecritic.com.au/topic/2977562-emerald-princess-electrical-outlets/
  5. All ships have the "juice bar". It's not a standalone venue. On most ships, it's located somewhere in the buffet - which is suspect is where it is on Island, or it's at the bar just aft of the buffet (not applicable to island as buffet is forward). Hours are limited, usually closed by 2pm. It's 5 or 6 juice blends, not fresh fruit juiced when you order.
  6. Your booking confirmation. Your travel summary if you downloaded. Your patters from the day Poet schedules from the different ports you were due to visit.

  8. Not sure why you're encountering issues, given your Platinum, etc As I noted, I've booked MDR and specialty dining for my Dec and early Jan cruises.. Spellbound is not available yet - it comes and goes for whatever reason, with every update. I'm not worried about getting a night though as it's twice a night every night and it's very niche (and pricey, for Princess) and not appealing to a majority for whatever reason. By then, the bloom will be off, so to speak, lol... Dinner reservations really aren't necessary, BTW.. walk-ins are completely easy and welcome..and there's also 2 set dining times, if that's more your speed. As a massive MSc fan, and a regular X cruiser also, overall, Princess is our go to for easy cruising - but the Sun launch and subsequent changes are a debacle of epic proportions. It's unbelievable that, within less than 2 months of launching, they're making massive changes to cabin categories and inclusions, deck spaces, etc. That, almost three months in, there's still several venues not open..that, for a ship of this size, the theater sits 1000 and the Done only seats approximately 230. And shows are only twice a night! That there's only 2 casual dining (and they're small!), but 7 specialty - and the specialty is more expensive than other ships! Overall, we're looking forward to our cruise, but yeah - it's a major departure, and a headache. I'm not even going to look at it again til we're within a month of final payment, it's just overwhelming! I'm sure you'll enjoy it, once aboard.....😉

  10. Are you asking about where to speak to maitre'd about dining requests? That's a different animal from the DINE line, ie extension on the phone, labeled DINE Usually, outside either Capri or Amalfi dining room. It'll be listed in the Patter
  11. I took remember that pretty darn clearly. It was odd, to say the least. What's "worse" is that, the new Sun doesn't have a larger theater either. Under 1100 seats, for a 4200 passenger ship, at double occupancy. And the shows, only twice a night - when the original info was that they'd be three times a night. Go figure. Add in the Dome shows - that seats 230 or so and are 20 minutes long, only twice a night also. And Voila - more than half the ship can't get in to see any of the shows on any given night.. Far less when there's third or fourth berths in use.. a fail on this design - unless they do transition to 3 a night as originally planned. And with it being a new ship, design and 6 new shows - 3 brand new production shows (and the 4th a reimagines Fiera) and the 3 Cirque shows in the Dome, people are going to want to see them, even those long time cruisers who've seen all the others shows too many times to count and don't go at all anymore. (Only 2 production shows so far, all 3 Dome shows up). People are reporting waiting on line and in their seat in the Dome for 90 minutes or an hour, not making it at all, standing room only, etc. Fail. A larger theater was definitely in order.
  12. ???? They're behind the scenes. You can't go ask them in person, ie face to face, as you're not allowed in crew areas. You can obviously call and ask them "in person". You can speak to the maitre'd, in the various dining rooms and buffet, or F&B manager (ask at Guest Services).
  13. Taxes? What taxes on the upgrade? That's new. Anyways, use the Chat or call and do it directly. Or, do it aboard. It takes 3 minutes with a crew member, or you can do it on the app aboard, while waiting in line for the Sanctuary..
