We are booked for early dining. Will I be notified ahead of time which dining room we are assigned to, in case we want to change?

Being a first time Celebrity cruiser, I'm wondering how scheduling which MDR you eat in is done. If I pick Cosmopolitan the first night, do I have to stick with it, or can I change from night to night? We have early dining, so do I use the app to indicate which MDR I will be eating in every night? I usually tip our wait staff on the last night, how do I do this if I eat in different MDRs, have to split up the gratuity and go to each MDR to hand the gratuity out? I'm probably making it more complicated that it is, but questions still linger...

Glad you liked the Sunset Verandah, that's what we booked. Not sold on the Infinite Verandah, just seems like a cabin with a window that opens, not a real verandah. Once we get closer to our sailing, might check with our TA to see about upgrading to Aqua or a suite. We'll see....

Our cruise on the Allure is still a ways off, but I will be needing to contact the maitre 'd or hotel manager with a special request. Does anyone know an email address for the Allure maitre 'd or an email for RCCL that would handle the request? TIA

No, just a Sunset Verandah. Our TA is good at getting us any extras she can get for us. Have to remind her about the anniversary 🙂

When we sailed on Carnival, I would get on John Heald's FB page and ask him to help us get a table for 2 in the MDR. He was good at helping us with that. And when we boarded the ship and got to our cabin, there was always a ship-on-a-stick, a bottle of champagne, and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries with a note from him. Wonder who I would talk to at Celebrity to get the cake or strawberries 🍓🍰?

I wasn't sure. At one time FB was persona non grata on Cruise Critic....

We have booked our first ever Celebrity cruise (Apex, Feb 2024) for our 50th anniversary, so I will be posting alot of questions between now and then 🙂 First up is about the basic Wi-Fi package. For our cruises, I usually set up a social media page on the "site-that-shall-not-be-named", so our family can keep in touch during our trip. The description of the basic Wi-Fi package says "please note that you won’t be able to email large files, share photos or videos, use streaming apps, access social media, or make video calls." I was hoping that didn't include the "site-that-shall-not-be-named", so I thought I would ask if anyone knows? Thanks!

Well, afraid we are limited to Caribbean cruises from home ports we can drive to. Airfares are crazy....

After 7 cruises (soon to be 8 on Carnival and Royal Caribbean), my wife and I are looking to upgrade to either Princess, Holland America, or Celebrity for out 50th wedding anniversary in 2024. Had a Celebrity cruise in mind, but the Sunset Verandah went up $900 since April. But, neither Princess or Holland America have any cruises listed for 2024. Does anyone know when Princess might be releasing their schedule for 2024?
