  1. We have sailed twice on Azura and both times have used Sindhu, it's a realy nice restaurant. We waited until we were on board as there are two different menus nd they change from day to day. As the wife does not like certain foods we checke out the menus the first day on bord then ent down on the first full sea day nd booked a table on a day when the menu that we wanted was on, both times there ere tables tht ere empty. Hope that this is of some help also on the first occasion the wife could not decide between two of the starters and asked if she could try two half portions, the reply was yes, result was she got two full starters, the staff are brilliant,

  2. Sub,you beat me to it baseball caps at tables next, that is a real pet hate of mine, if they seriously start to downgrade formal, semi formal them we might as well go down the roadside diner attire road, I love cruising much to the wife's surprise because it gives the opportunity to dress up. Yep I'm a working class bloke ,that likes putting on a tux

  3. Have just checked cruisett.com and Adonia is the only ship in port in Monaco so we should be tied up alongside.,also only Adonia in Liverno and Tangiers .in Lisbon there is Costa Fortuna,Prinsendam, and Windstar moored as well.Barcelona has Costa Fortuna again, and CostaFavalosa moored. In civitaviccia has Queen Elizabeth, moored and in La Coruna has Queen Victoria moored,

  4. We stay overnight in Southampton never open our main luggage but use two airline type carry on cases on wheels, get to the terminal and the porter takes the main luggage and the carry on we just place on the conveyor and pick up up once it's gone through the X-ray, never had a problem. Best is no weight limit if you can carry it it's ok

  5. I take reviews on travel sites with a pinch of salt, have stayed at places that everyone raves about only to find it to be a third world dump and stayed in others that were rated as dumps and turned out to be excellent. As I said in my last stayed two years ago and enjoyed and since then they have had the makeover. And yes I am aware that DeVere no longer own it, Headaches no if it turns out duff then somewhere else next time and hey we Stokies are made of stern stuff

  6. on the subject of hotels have used The Grand harbour twice before once just dinner bed and Breakfast and 2 years ago used the ultimate cruise package and was seriously impressed, parking great room, dinner bed breakfast and lunch plus transfers all included in the price. looking forward to this year as the hotel has had a multi million pound makeover so should be a real good start to he cruise
