  1. Currently sat in queue to park with CPS, been told there are 700 cars waiting to be parked!! That’s even before we get into the terminal to see what awaits us there.

As this is a 7 day cruise I would expect a refund of a days cost. No lunch, no evening meal . At the rate we’re going will be lucky to  get on by 10pm.

  2. We were on Aurora in February this year and had a meal in Sindhu which was really awful. Very poorly presented and no taste whatsoever.  The service was as usual impeccable, the only saving grace.

We complained to the manager who then suggested we come in again on another night and he would only charge us for one person.  This we declined as we really didn't want a second night with poor food.  The manager then agreed to pay for a meal in the beach house for us, which we accepted.

We have been in Sindhu on every cruise we have been on 10+, and on different ships, but never again.  The menus have changed and the recipes and  ingredients are different, the subtle spices are definitely not there.  So why are customers still being charged a supplement of at least £17.50 per person for what was a celebrity chef experience.

  3. thanks for your information.

It wouldn't be too bad if the workmen come onboard at the last port of ponta delgada, but if there're on the ship on the last stop in the Caribbean that would be a different matter.

    When I get a reply from P & O I will ask that question.

  4. We have booked to go on the Azura TA cruise towards the end of March 2020 leaving Barbados to Southampton.

I have just discovered that Azura is having a refit in April 2020 after our cruise, I'm very concerned that on the 5 day crossing back to Southampton the ship will be like a building site with various areas out of bounds. This is not what I want for a relaxing cruise.

I've emailed P & O direct but as yet I haven't had an answer, has anyone had any experience on a cruise that is having a refit directly after and what the disruption was.

  5. Just come back on Aurora, we booked onboard it was £67 less your loyalty discount. Collect your ticket from the tourist information office just on the quayside, don't lose it as you have to put it through a scanner to gain access to gondola both up and down. The coach transfer goes from the petrol station every half (1/4 past and 1/4 to the hour) takes about 10 mins to get to Loen

    Skylift.

You can go at anytime but we got the coach at 9.30 and the lift was at 10. Great journey up and when we arrived there was only about 10 other people there.

From the viewing platform you can see for miles, absolutely breathtaking scenery . We watched paragliders jumping off the mountain and was lucky enough to see a base jumper doing the same.

You can stay up there as long as you want , there are walks to take if you want some more strenuous than others.

We had 2 coffees and a cake which we shared and it cost about £13. So for the view not too bad.

I would say that this was the highlight of the cruise , we took lots of photos and video of the descent in the gondola.

    A must do excursion.
