Either it's fixed, or you are mistaken. The decks with the forward facing cabins look odd, but they are bow forward
I didn't fix anything. I think you are right that VXR was confused by the decks with the forward facing cabins.

I have created a PDF of all the decks of the Anthem. The Dropbox link is here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/y1xovy66ilfyitv/AnthemDecks.pdf?oref=e&n=360024570
A couple of notes:
It looks good on my Nexus tablet, only OK on my iPod touch
I put 2 blank pages at the beginning of the document in order to line the page numbers up with the Deck numbers
Download and enjoy!

How is the shuttle from the Ramada to and from the Port? Do you reserve it? Is it on a schedule? Is the return trip relatively prompt?
We're sailing on Anthem in March, and enquiring minds want to know.
-
Despite the fact that my cruise is over 3 months out, when I opened up my reservation, I noticed I had a room assignment. The room in question is sweet, not everybody's cup of tea, but one I would have considered paying for if we'd had the extra money.
My question is had anyone ever gotten a room assignment on a Guarantee fare, and then had it changed again? And was that change considered a Downgrade in the eyes of RCCL?
I figured I'd get a room assignment 20-45 days out, this was kind of a (pleasant) surprise.

Another interesting structure you will pass as you leave Baltimore is he Chesapeake Bat Bridge Tunnel http://www.cbbt.com/ which connects the little piece of Virginia on the Delmarva peninsula with Virginia Beach. It was built as a bridge-tunnel because the Navy was concerned that a bridge only configuration could be bombed by an enemy, which would "bottle up" the naval bases around the Norfolk ares. It is kind of cool to look to the left and see a bridge, look to the right and see a bridge, but look ahead and see no bridge.

This would better be asked in the ""Florida Departures" subforum http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=495
It might have already been answered as well

Here's how I would spring the surprise. Go to New York earlier in the year (if you can mayve just for a fun weekend) and then say " I want to go to the intrepid Air and Space Museum". While at the Museum, point out the cruise ships (which should be visible from the deck of the Intrepid) and say " Those ships are really pretty we should go on one of them some time." Then if they say "yeah we should" you then go "Well I've got tickets for next month ( or whenever)".

Yeah I knew it wasn't Home Depot, but isn't Harley Davidsons headquarters in Milwaukee
Interesting fact about the Harpers Ferry rebellion is that the federal general who was sent in to quell it was one Robert E Lee.
Minor correction to the above, it was Col Robert E Lee, USMC who led the federal troops. (but yeah, it is still that Robert E Lee)

Hmm... I get that regular Minute maid is just plain old lemonade, but what's regular Powerade (and Powerade Zero) taste like?
Powerade is Coke's version of Gatorade. Powerade Zero is the lo calorie version.

I had friends on Freedom and they got really freaked and never shook it off!
I'm thinking about a cruise on Freedom next spring, and I'm psyched -- I mean, what are the chances that there will be 2 fires on he same cruise ship in a year? ;-)
-
Ship (UPS, FedEx) it to yourself at the next destination.
Technically it is illegal to ship booze "person to person" via UPS FedEx. I'm not saying it can't be done, but you could run into problems
-
It seems to me that a "Park and Cruise" package might be a better option. Admittedly, you'd have to make the Ottawa --> Baltimore run in one day (or add extra days to your trip), but you will save some money and hassle.
-
For a group of 12, (plus luggage) I'd look into renting a "Party Bus", you won't be crowded and it will make the vacation start a little earlier. You might even get a price break since you are renting it in the daytime. The downside is you'd have to pay for effectively 4 trips, since most Limos are booked from "home base" and back. OTOH you can pick up everyone at their own home (assuming you all are local to one another).
-
Has anybody booked the front facing rooms on Freedom? I'm talking about room 9202 and 7202 for example. My concern is with them being at the extreme end of the ship and relatively high up there will be more motion. I'm not prone to sea sickness but i do get it occasionally.
Also I know many people like the aft balcony rooms and I was wondering if there and similar feelings about the front facing rooms
-
I sailed on the Grandeur, and we had a regular ocean view room on deck 4 towards the front of the ship. It was very convenient you could walk to the main dining room and the Centrum bar without going up or down elevators or stairs.

a large Air France jet (I think it was a 757).
And here's the video that DD17 shot of the Air France jet

That's an Airbus A340 (4 engines is the big clue)

The South Street Seaport is a short walk from the Financial District/WTC, there are restaurants of almost every price point/variety there.

Here's my review of the Sleep Inn, Posted after my cruise this past March

Another option would be to spend the night somewhere in between, Ontario and Baltimore, Philly maybeand leave yourself with a short drive to Baltimore. The port of Baltimore parking lot is very secure, it is fenced in and patrolled by either the Maryland Staties, or Homeboy Security.

I agree that the $15 parking fee for the 1 night is kind of tacky (just include it in the room rate), but otherwise it is a bargain.

Just came back from that exact itinerary:
For T-Mobile:
At sea: Incoming texts are free, outgoing are 50 cents. Voice is $6/min, data charges are $15/MB
Puerto Rico and St Thomas are considered the US and covered on your regular plan
St Martin (If you have one of the T-mo Global plans): Texts are free, voice is 20 cents/ minute, free (slow) data (high speed data is an upcharge)
Haiti: When I called T-mo customer service, they said Haiti wasn't covered in heir global plan, so voice wouild be $6/minute (don't recall text or data charges), however when we docked a Labadee I got a text saying "Welcome to Jamaica. Unlimited text included wtih your global coverage, Talk 20 cents/min".
I'm guessing this was because the service was showing as "Digicell" who I know have a big presence in Jamaica. Maybe they are expanding to Haiti as well.
I turned off "Data while roaming" and didn't answer any incoming calls(checked Voice mail in San Juan), and had no charges on my bill.
-
I would assume that St. Thomas = St. John from a cellular provider's point tof view, as they are both the USVI
-
Just back from St Thomas and San Juan and my T-mobile phone worked just fine (voice and data) in both ports.
Interestingly, while at sea, I could receive text messages for free (sending them was 50 cents) -- at least according to T-Mo's website (I didn't try), voice calls were something ridiculous, like $6/min. I turned "data while roaming" off, and all was good, billing wise.

NYC --> Baltimore is about a 3 --3.5 hr drive, you could probably leave as late as 10 and be OK. Parking at the port is $15/day. The lot is fenced in and patrolled.

Oh good to know. I generally don't hang out on the UK. Website so I was unaware that the PDFs existed there. Silly me for thinking that a useful document on the UK website will automatically be put on the US website. I will point out however that I at least put two blank pages in front of the deck plans in order to make the page numbers line up with the deck numbers
