  1. Hello, We are taking a British Isles cruise in May of '24 with a stop at Invergordon. Doing some reading here I see that there is very little of interest in Invergordon - I have talked with the others in our group, and there is some interest in going to the town of Dornoch, finding a pub there to have something to eat, wander a bit, then head back to the ship. Two things: - One of us (me) is mobility-challenged and use a cane or walker to get around (depending on the day). Is Dornoch accessible to someone with mobility issues? - How would we get from the Invergordon cruise port to Dornoch? Everything I have seen is a tour that last 6 or more hours - we're not really interested in doing that, just looking for a lazy day where we can go to the village, have some lunch, tour around (I'd love to go to the Carnegie Whisky Cellar as I and one other in our group are Scotch Whisky fans), then head back to our ship in Invergordon. If it helps, there are 6 of us, and we are Invergordon on Saturday May 11. Thanks!
  2. I had an HC room and a rented electric mobility scooter on Celebrity. An HC room is a must! Those things can take up a lot of space! Everyone - both passengers & crew/staff - were fantastic, helping when needed. I'm going on the Regal Princess next Spring with a rental scooter again, and I should be able to disembark at tendered ports as I can walk a bit and won't take the scooter down to the tender (I have a folding walker that I'll take). The only place that was inaccessible to me was the sports deck at the top of the ship - and that wasn't an issue, as I didn't miss out on something I wanted to take part in! Get a crew member to help guide you in the dining room, as it can get quite crowded and busy. And definitely get assistance both boarding and disembarking.
  3. Hi! We are taking the Regal Princess on a cruise around the British Isles next May, and I had a question - has anyone done the tour through Princess to the Juno Beach Centre and the Canadian WWII Cemetery? I am thinking about it (no one else in my group is interested in going), but I wanted to know from those who have done it, how is it for accessibility? I have a neurological issue that affects my balance, and think I might want to bring my rollator (it's foldable) as it is the entire day, and my walking gets worse as the day goes on - does anyone have information on how this would be? I don't want to cause issues for others, or get caught being unable to do the tour! Excursions for our cruise are not bookable yet, so this may al be moot if they choose not to offer it! I was just looking at the various excursions available in Le Havre on the Princess website! Thanks, Brian
  4. Hi, We have a cruise booked next May on the Regal. and both my wife and I have the Plus package - the one with drinks, wifi, gratuities, etc... and I was wondering - I drink Single Malt Scotch and on Celebrity I upgrade just MY drinks package to allow those to be included. Can I do the same with the drinks package in the Plus? Thanks, Brian
  5. Hello, We are taking a cruise on the Millennium in Feb 2023, and I was wondering about pre-arranging our transfers. We (there are 5 of us, arriving around the same time at SJU) are all staying at the Hotel Miramar, then cruising on the Millennium, and would like to set up transfers both from SJU to the Hotel on Thursday, then from the Hotel to the Pan American terminal on Saturday. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks, Brian
