  1. Water, fruit (usually some sort of juicy fruits like grapes and watermelons and canteloupes and such), floatie mats, and your own towels. Also shade and your own lounge chairs.

You do get trams to the regular buffet and back again, and no, you do not have to be up at the crack of dawn to get your cabinette (the SO and I had a leisurely breakfast and ended up going at around 9:30am, and even with that had our pick of seating).

Nice beach (even if we did manage to come right when the tiny jellies did), there is some sargasso but there's also relatively clear areas where you see huge sea stars--this is a wild beach so that's to be expected. Nice area, and I'd argue the cabinettes are one of the better kept secrets (and thank you, dear posters at Cruise Critic for educating the cruise newbie on this! ;))

    How much did you pay?

  2. I'm trying to online check in. I got to the arrival and departure section and it I'll not let me continue. We plan on arriving at port around 11:30am. Going home our flights got moved up before noon, so I have private transport bringing us to the airport and doing the valet luggage thing to cut time. Are the times wrong or something? Does it matter?

  3. We just returned today from FOS, we had a new room on deck 12. We had room 1864. There have been some questions on cruise critic regarding the room. In my opinion, it was WONDERFUL! It was a big pie shaped room with lots of storage both drawer and closet wise. The area to hang clothes was an average size but it had three long shelves that were probably 3.5-4 feet in length. The closet was large enough to walk into. The drawers in the desk area were also large, maybe 3 feet wide with three drawers. Bathroom was tiny. The desk area had storage beside the mirror that I kept all my makeup, blow dryer, curling iron and flat iron in, it also held the safe. The room had 5 large floor to ceiling windows, I thought it was better than a balcony. I could lay in bed in the air conditioning and watch the seas go by. The a/c was really cold. The stateroom attendant, Vincent, was also very good. I probably shouldn't sound so excited, I may never be able to get the room again after boasting it, but I would book this room ANYTIME over a balcony!

I wish we would be able to get one!!i wonder if any of the freedom class ships are getting these rooms???
